So, based off of that, you can assume they'll just keep rising.

however, i dont think korea had such a big rmt/bot problem as the west did. So, its a guess as to whether it will follow the same trend

technically, yes.
grudge is so expensive because, a) it gives the highest dps. and b) because it can literally be used on every dps class.

class engraving books generally make getting your 5x3 on one class cheaper, but work out more expensive if you intend to make your alts 5x3 eventually.

a compromise would be finding engravings that are used by multiple of your alts

basically, i think the tl:dr is that
Grudge is a very good investment. BUT it's a very long-term investment, that's not gonna pay itself off for a long time. And which will only really pay itself off when you invest heavily into your alts engravings. It's kinda up to you to see if its worth it or not.

Up to you. With global buff you'll probably very easily get enough mats but you have to do Yorn. Rohendel and Feiton is pretty skippable but if you don't do Yorn main story you never get access to gems because it's locked behind it's main story

The only good ships are Estoque and Astray for general sailing. Since Astray is expensive AF (around 1.5 million pirate coins to max) you should max out Estoque first.
Eibern's Wound is only used for Ghost Ship; you only need lvl1 with Berald as crew.
Tragon can be slightly useful for Punika Sailing Co-op, but it's not important.

Then if you wanna do Punika Sailing Co-op in Tempest waters you just swap out 1-2 sailors (usually Legendary Pupuring) for sailors with high Tempest resist so you reach a higher resist level vs Tempest.

Astray: Relic Blackfang+3xBarakas+Relic Wilhelm.
Then swap Legendary and Epic Barakas for Leg&Epic Wilhelm for Tempest sailing.

personally speaking, i find bard more apealing, paly is a snorefest

i also feel im more useful as bard due to being able to top up teammates easier

Pala has combined heal + dmg buff in their identity. It's not really used as a healing tool such as Bards because you just want it out as much as possible for the damage while Bard can pick between heal or damage
