I got warned for posting an invite link to LoaLook Discord as a reply to help a person asking for source on my preset.
I'm trying to find which part of rules doesn't allow this. Legit question, not trying to argue.

Only rule that I can find is No posting discord servers or communities unrelated to Lost Ark. but that Discord is obviously Lost Ark related.

Also that link has been used in the past. The message is still up. So pretty confused why I get a warning while others don't.

"Someone else did something that didn't get reported" is rarely a good argument. If it didn't get seen or reported, then naturally they got away with it, it won't abstain you if you get caught.

We don't allow other discords to get plugged, I appreciate that wording confused you and I can see why, but there's a reason there's a vetting process that other discords go through before we allow them to recruit as a clan or go on the spreadsheet, it'd naturally be nonsensical to have that process but allow discord links to be generally posted elsewhere.

Unless it's in the clan environment, no. By all means, if you want to get Mercy or Mia to vet that discord and run it by staff to allow it to be used as a resource, then this can be made possible, but that's the only way at least you'll be safe to plug that specific discord, otherwise no.

(Best way to probably do that is tag mercy in gallery section, or open a ticket and tag Mercy in that)

And then she can bring staff in and you can go over it with them and they can see whether it'll get a pass

That Discord got traction due to ATK's latest video. It's Korean now but they recently said that they're working on adding an English version after ATK's video on it.
Has a lot of useful presets and dyes.
So yeah, thought would be fine. Didn't know there's an approved list.

Yep, not allowed. I recommend making a ticket and providing some screenshots of the previous user and new one. I'm not exactly sure where the line is drawn in regards to ban evasion, but I reckon if there is enough correlation between the two accounts it could be enough to constitute another ban.

@terse crescent You were LFG Banned and had your role removed due to advertising in other people's threads. You are not allowed to post any sort of advertisements in the threads as it mentions in the side panel, and the 2nd rule in #guild-recruitment states something similar. It seems like you've had your recruiter role since the last time I checked though, so all you need to do is wait for your LFG ban to be lifted after 7 days. Should be gone at 8/3/22 at around 12:46 PM CST. In the meantime, you can also make a ticket for those other users you mentioned so we can take action on them

I'd open a ticket and show us some of the DMs and provide UIDs so we can investigate the user within this Discord. If we find they're just here to cold call DM people, then they will be removed. I would also suggest submitting a report to Discord with their IDs (or tags) as it's against Discord ToS to spam DM advertise.

No, you may choose to do this to your customers in DM (like your ad could be "video proof of performance on request" included) but we don't need it. All that applications serves for us is to make sure you understand the process and how to make an advertisement within our guidelines.

Works the same way as our guild recruitment system, to put it bluntly, it's a literacy check and idiot filter.

So we don't have to babysit advertisement channels to make sure advertisements follow guidelines, because we know the people who have access to them in the first place already proved they can make an ad within our guidelines.

You could also use double ` tags as well with links to your videos in your add. For example at the bottom you could have like

I don't want to be that guy but i was just 2d banned in the lf-static channel saying i bumped my post 2 times in the same 24 hrs. My post was definitely up for at least 3 days. I made the post so it didnt auto delete until 7 days and bumped it each day. I Guess if i want to avoid a ban in the future i will copy paste every time it deletes after 24hr because that's essentially the same thing and won't warrant a ban.

Presets requests are not fulfilled in any particular order or always completed, and they never have been.

It's up to the discretion of any user on this Discord, if and when they want to fulfill your request. You're allowed to bump your post or just request something different if you wish after 5 days.

The only sure-proof option is to ping a creator that you like in #gallery-discussion and kindly ask them to try it for you (note that private messaging creators without their consent is against our request rules).

I'm not telling you to go ask every creator possible either, don't be crass. And most importantly, if they say no, they say no.

So I'm not sure if any mod would know or be able to help, but lost ark just randomly has been freezing up during anything and forcing me to have to hard close it via task manager and reload. This has happened while walking in vern, chaos dungeon, valtan runs, etc. There's nothing specific that triggers it, it just locks up the screen and I have to do a full restart. I've tried checking the files on steam, doing a full reinstall, checking drivers on pc and no luck. It can be fine for 3 hours or 3 minutes there's no telling

It's not completely unplayable, but for example today I did 2 chaos dungeons and got a 6% and a 31% clear and that counted as my runs for the day which is practically nothing

I have made a new Discord account because my old account was compromised. I was having lots of spam dms by bots and shit so I decided instead of leaving every single server and block every bot on that account (wich I dont even remember how many they were) I decided to just make a new brand account. I got banned in here because the bot thought I was trying to bypass the recruitment channel wich is not true. I made a new account with no secondary intentions but to protect myself. Now since I am a Guild Master, I did had the Recruiter role to recruit in here, but since I got banned I have lost that role... I have applied yesterday and it was accepted. Is it possible to just give me the recruiter role again without me having to apply once more?

Is it possible that the follow option for announcement channels isn't working anymore?
I follow #announcements and #eu-central-updates on my discord server, but nothing happens since several days even something gets posted here.

Works fine in mine.

in integrations (server settings)

otherwise it takes a few min to reach every server

we have 20,000 servers connected to announcements
