Sad to hear that you are having so much trouble.. I was here yesterday when someone else even showed you how it is done.. Maybe you could try it on a easier class first to kinda get more experience? Something like artillerist or gunlancer have very easy time with valtan cos they cannot be pushed and both are very tanky and easy to play.

Or if you are completely new player you could do other stuff first like play trough the entire game, do some guardian raids and chaos dungeons etc to get used to the game mechanics and how your character plays.

The important lines are ones for your set bonus. For your set bonus you NEED either Critial or Master on your gloves AND helm AND have a total sum of 40 points across all your elixers. You class guide on Nexus will say which set you want

The other pieces are more optional but ideally 2 damage lines. Each piece has piece specific lines like Boss Damage or Additional damage and common lines that can go anywhere like Atk power/Wep power
