Their best reference for that is experimenting themselves, honestly, doing their own research into how the class plays as opposed to just looking to see if something is SS Tier or not. And no class is a bad pick to begin with, some are harder to "get MVP" with but thats just a silly metric to measure anything by at this point. Also there really are no tier lists lacking in bias. Hell you can't even make one based purely on numbers because that is not how this game plays.

Yeah it's pretty active

Raids and stuff are region wide tho

Everything is boosted, there is an additional event still present on them but any roster progress you have already made is reset. Same with mounts you have already unlocked, pets, costumes depending on how you got said costume, etc.

The Jumpstarts were released months ago, they were just recently connected with the rest of their associated region. If your intent is to relearn the game you don't need to go onto jumpstart for that, you can easily just use the South Vern power pass on a new Sorceress you want to play on your existing server and use the Mokoko Express + Path of the Soul Eater on it. However if your intention is to play in the open world with a friend and they are on a different server then Jumpstart may be the solution.

You're free to roll on Jumpstart, especially if you and your friend are both willing to restart to play on the same server. Population should be fine, people likely came back once they merged those servers into their regions.
