Drops is fine but is entirely rng and has a very miniscule impact, for bard Max MP is pretty mandatory at some level, especially in Sonatine setups, to not be constantly out of mana.

Bard had to change skills to get efficiency out of VPH, if you're running it with harp/rhapsody it ends up not doing a lot. I swap to sound shock/soundholic as flex skills for VPH if I need to stagger but if I don't need to stagger, I find harp/rhapsody and drops to be better support for the team. Pali and Artist do great stagger with their base skill kits though which is why VPH is a no brainer for them.

1. You need vph if you wanna do buses with sups 2) if sups have vph it means that the stagger is faster and the DPS aren’t forced to waste strong skills during the Stagger check 3) you are a “no brainer” that prefer drops instead of vph

1. I do not care about nor make gameplay decisions around bussing as it's not something I take part in. 2) You are correct, however a lot of Bard builds take abilities with low stagger contribution and so the engraving is buffing 36% of a much lower base number than paladin or artist unless stagger is built around 3) Drops is the better general purpose engraving if your build doesn't provide a lot of stagger.

Staggering on supports is great but bard has to sacrifice more to pull it off vs paladin and artist

idk why u are responding to him, bussing isn't even a core part of the game. the average person is not bussing and none of the bussing stuff is on any of the community guides for the classes. It's just a way people can compete with RMT as F2P or it's what the RMTers do to make extra gold on top of their RMT.
