the offsite department of application reading is on the smaller side, so it makes sense that the wait time for it is longer
submitting a ticket doesn't typically put the expired application at the front of the queue, applications are often reviewed from oldest to newest no matter what
additionally, expired application tickets aren't closed until the application gets reviewed
i assure you that your application and ticket will be reviewed, it just may take some time
