Every time I post, I get messages from about 20 scammers. This is damaging the server and driving away people who are genuinely serious about hiring. It’s turning HD into a scam hub.

If you make some requirements to even be screened, such as a old account-age, etc, you'd reduce that number. Most scammers can be caught just by their account age. Phone number added, and email could also be a turn-off.

I understand you can’t screen 250,000 people or eliminate every bad actor. But doing nothing because the problem is large isn’t reasonable either. Right now, scammers have unrestricted access to hiring posts, and every post gets flooded with fraud. When someone gets 15–20 scam messages per post, people stop reporting and simply leave. That’s why legitimate employers are moving elsewhere.

No one is asking for perfect security. Basic restrictions like minimum account age or verified email/phone would already block a huge portion of scam accounts. This is standard practice on large platforms.

I know modding a server this size isn’t easy, and I respect the work you all put in. I just want to see this great server improve.

Scam Investigators are actively working on each and every ticket. Saying "doing nothing" means critising the effort if each and every SI. Also I don't think legitimate clients are turning around from HD rather they are coming into HD due to its strong marketplace rules. The last time mod apps were open was in October so I don’t think it’s going to happen again soon.

There are also no specific dates we can tell you either. You just have to stick around the server long enough and apps for each department eventually get posted in #announcements.

All I can say is try your best to keep a good server standing and wait it out. It’s really a time thing 👍🏽.

If you really want something to do, get a skill role and become a helper for that role (since those apps are open anytime). Check pins in any dev channel focused on a specific role for more information on that.

In our marketplace (#marketplace-info), we have 2 different ways of making a post; a hiring and hireable post.
Hiring posts are posts which allows you to seek for developers.
Hireable posts allow people who are hiring to find you.

Hiring post

To make a hiring post, use the command </post:0> in #cmds and fill out the required fields. Remember that the marketplace doesn't accept % if your game hasn't made profit yet!
