Hello!

I am having trouble with creating a post for the market place. When I finally edit the last slot and hit "submit" I get the message "something went wrong" and then it won't allow me to edit anything anymore (it says "this interaction failed"). It doesn't matter in which order I edit what or what links I use - I always gets stuck at the very last edit. It is becoming very frustrating as I have waited days to gain the role to post on marketplace and it just won't let me do it. What am I doing wrong?

because moderators arent allowed to just take chat or dm reports. if the person appealed theres no record of a ticket to go off of. theres no way to audit or track the mod action, and the evidence youre providing isnt even sufficient enough for the mod to act on. it lacks the channel or dm it occured in, the user's id, which would all be prompted in a user report.

It also said I needed to work on my pose complexity. The one with a basic stud background is probably the most complicated posing of them all. Having posed all of the fingers and every part of the character individually including the face. I don't get what else I can do better.

Kind confused by the guidelines for animation applications on the website. Do I have to make a literal game to showcase animations and script the entire game or do i just make a sketchfab account and upload the files for the application which are usually easily able to be stolen even if you dont mark them for download or purchase since its a 3d viewer that needs to store most files locally. Does 1 whole animation sequence that ive used for a showcase video on a youtube channel with what a client or an average person would say would be multiple animations only count as 1 animation? Also the script that was given to showcase animations in a roblox experience i cannot get to work, i might be stupid or something but i cannot get that thing to work lol.

Choose whatever is more convenient for you. If you want to submit your examples in a Roblox game, the game does not need to be fully-developed at all. It can just be a baseplate with at least 3 external rigs (1 rig per example typically).

Also it helps to have the Output tab open to debug and see any specific errors you're encountering with the animation script

When you upload your animations to Roblox, they must be uploaded to your Roblox account (otherwise you will get an entirely different error). Each animation has its own asset ID as well; that is what you paste into the AnimationId

I'm looking over your examples and I agree with the Application Reader's comments. There is nothing wrong with using gradients, patterns, or basic Roblox maps for your scene backgrounds. However, to be on par with intermediate sophistication, we require more complicated rendered scenes... which include more characters, props, and/or objects in the foreground and background. I would also avoid including high CTR thumbnails or icons in your portfolio. I understand they are easy to make, but they do not adequately showcase your designing skills.

You can look in #graphics-hirable (excluding the high CTR examples) to get a better idea of what we look for regarding intermediate+ sophistication

You can also ask in #3d-graphics for more feedback and guidance

I am not an animator, so you would definitely get a better answer in #animation If you make your animations with the Animation Editor in Studio, this is one way; there are pinned messages for special cases as well

Yes; unfortunately, you have to choose one or the other. There are no exceptions

The Application Reader must be able to view your animation from all angles to properly evaluate it for originality and intermediate sophistication

Videos are not allowed for 3D animations
