Drawing is very simple actually, it never was that complicated, you don’t even have to learn a lot about it to get commissions. But the real problem is marketing your things cause that’s when people start to lowball and generally not want it. But I definitely agree with shifting your focus into studies more instead of the commission business because most of the time, it doesn’t turn out that great of a full time career unless you dedicate most of your days into producing a bunch of high quality artworks, which is a very pressuring thing to do; on top of that, that kinda career is very inconsistent and you never really know your salary of every month since it differs. While studying actually gives you little backup at the end of the day
