what is considered too long to complete a thumbnail/icon?

well of course i know it depends on quality and complexity but like, ,, i usually spend 5-7 hours on average for thumbnails and 2-4 on icons

im worried because i feel i make people wait too long sometimes 💔

really depends, u can spend a month, but will the client pay a months worth for a single image? at least in here its unlikely. I dont do thumbnails/icons because i take 5-6hours on average so theyd end up costing too high for me to invest my time into it.
