And say what Ive attempted so far

I am having trouble with EAC, specifically in War Thunder. Only after a few minutes of playing, it kicks me out due to EAC error code #00000001, stating that I’ve modified the game files in some sort of way. This is odd, because not only are all the game files verified, I have not downloaded anything into WT other than WT itself. Here is a list of things I’ve attempted:

I uninstalled any and all RGB software or any services used to adjust RGB display in my PC
I set the thing to clean boot mode
I risked myself by shutting down my antivirus 100%
I ran the EAC repair
I disabled Test Signing mode
I turned on DEP
I reinstalled all of my drivers
I terminated nearly all background processes
I tried using and not using a VPN (Nord)
And I manually verified every single game file.

I am not sure what else I’m able to do at this point, and would like some guidance as to either lengthen the amount of time I can play for or, hopefully, eliminate the problem entirely.

If I remembered correctly, firstlly open Steam, in the top left, click where it says Steam again, click Settings, ||(EDIT):|| click on In-Game, then it should be near the top on that category, just disable or untick it, if it shows.

what i meant was like a cheap school laptop. If you have a friend or familly member that can let you use the laptop. If you did a fresh reboot and still getting the error, it could be server based

Try contacting the game support they may need to remove the flag, happened to me once with anohher MMORPG few years back

Also, at some point, my saves for DL2 are going to corrupt from age, so in advance, would I be able to get some solutions to these problems, when the time comes? I've completed the game countless times, for the story, as well as, (SPOILER; Sort-of); ||constructing / unlocking all the buildings for a specific faction||, but it's not a fun process to keep doing that all the time; I get more & more bored of it everytime.

So you've changed the drive letter and restarted your PC? If it doesn't work after that, you'll probably want to do a repair scan for your system

Anyone have any similar experience to this:
Turn on PC and do whatever but after awhile it hard freezes. It could be minutes all the way to a few hours. After it does that, I have to hard power down (hold power) then boot it back up, the weird thing is after booting it back up from a hard freeze, it won't do it again, like I can play for hours or even days (so long as I don't turn off the PC).
The whole thing repeats again the moment I turn off the PC for the night or off for half a day.
TLDR: PC Hard freezes ONCE at random time then works perfectly after reboot. Until next time I turn off PC for the night.
(Reinstalled windows multiple times and did mem test. stress test gpu and etc as well. All passed with no errors or issues)

Tbh, I'm not entirely sure, all I can really think of is searching up "Security & Maintenance" on your Windows Search bar & open the "Maintenance" category, then begin to Start Maintenance, could take some time for it to complete & there's nothing showing if there's an error to the progress of the Maintenance, but it'll just take time before it is complete.

You don't mind me asking how we do that? Is it the "Security & Maintenance" thing? Is it something to do with using the .cmd in either the Run menu ||(Windows Key + R > Type "cmd" > Hit Enter)|| or, in File Explorer; open File Explorer, wherever it shows something such as ||"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam"||, or ||"{DRIVER NAME}\{FOLDER NAME}\{FOLDER NAME}"||; after you open a file; (not a requirement to open cmd, just when you open a file, it'll show something such as what I stated before), type in ||"cmd"||, hit enter & it'll load the Cmd Menu, from there, I wouldn't know what you could do, I'd have to google a list of things, all I know is that it's coding.

Oop, that didn't sound healthy. While playing the campaign, the game glitched, sent me to the main menu where it shows "Press Any Key to Continue", but it wouldn't let you continue, I hit F & it shown a search bar for all the things in settings & I tried using that to escape, but that'd only show settings with no option to go to the main menu, so I closed the game with Task Manager & my PC nearly died, hopefully I didn't lose the progress.

Because there really isn't a thing like corrupted or missing files on a PC unless something serious went wrong and can be solved rather easy. I just know Restoro demands registry access which really no software should be doing. Everything it can do... windows can do by default.

Their reviews aren't any better either by the looks of it, all the positive ones seems template ish and all the negative ones get a default automatic reply.

Just noticed on my anti-virus that there's a ||"Performance exclusions"|| setting, what folders would I add to that to improve performance, but also make sure nothing such as malware can get into that same folder & be exluded from the anti-virus? The only ones I can really think of is adding; ||"C:\Windows", "C:\System64", "C:\System"||, might search through some folders to see if I can more, I won't be adding any of them just yet, want to make sure I know what happens first before doing anything like that, same for everything else. ||(Also, you don't mind me messaging you for advice?)||

Had this when I went to Discord Support, on Phone, from the Discord app, didn’t know if something was up. Also, in the past had problems with my PC where there were glitches happening to my screen on Discord & Spotify, I think a few days after connecting my Spotify account to this Discord account. The weird thing about the glitches was that, the glitch would only appear when I first typed about it, then the glitch would appear to certain words in the text I was typing, then those glitches started spelling the same message with what they could with the music from Spotify, with the lyrics. It seemed like a person was causing those glitches to spell a message, as well as, there were multiple devices signed into my Discord account, I have Authenticator setup, I haven’t opened any scams, I’ve never been notified of anything attempting to sign into my account, but there were multiple devices, which weren’t mine, which shown the locations too, signed into my account. I’ve gotten the devices problem sorted, but as far as I’m aware, opening Discord Support will lead to the same Sonic.exe scam like background, from what I remember of that game anyway. Just wondering if I could get some support? Who could I contact to resolve all these issues, if it is this rare situation in the first place?

Like, the whole screen will stutter in a grey static, for PC. For phone, the screen or audio glitches a bit, like the audio may be raised louder than the max limit, it’d be bass boosted & the glitches on phone, I think it’s sort of like when scrolling on phone, idk

I remember I was trying to type out my problem in the past, then when I was correcting a word; “See” to “Seeing”, the audio raised louder until that word was finished typing, which I understand could be a coincidence, but so far, all glitches seem to have been a message

Also, you’re sure the Acknowledgement page is supposed to look like this? I understand Lockdown mode may have caused a few changes to limit what apps can do, so it might’ve looked or functioned more technical on something’s than it would run smoothly, but it still looks like the webpage was designed to look like this, for example the low-bit Discord symbols surrounding the entire thing, & the sketchy like technical aspects of the appearance itself.

In Garry’s Mod, I keep getting non-stop Engine Errors. This may be an issue out of my reach (as in I am on the client side not the host side), but maybe there is something to tell the server host.
I already verified my files, reinstalled all client-side addons, and even reinstalled GMOD in full.
What other steps can there be? Potentially an error in LUA?

so i got a laptop and im struggling w it It turns on, types fine. It can connect to internet. I can open internet explorer which is the main search engine. I can search on it.
However, it will send the “this page cannot be displayed” message. Or, it will be white/blank. When I actually click on a site. It does this with lots of them. Like the windows site or YouTube.
In addition I can’t update it to a new windows. It is currently windows 8.1 or 8 at least, but I believe 8.1 I. Which is no longer supported. I’ve tried to check for updates.
It’ll tell me there’s none available, or there was an error. It’ll say it can it update because it cannot connect. I’ve been redirected from an update screen to the windows update site and it’ll just be blank or say it cannot be displayed.
I’ve managed to get into a site which has updates on internet explorer, but when I press update it’ll grey out the screen except for a white bar with an x in it, which after pressing just reloads the page

Meaning I can’t do anything with the laptop. I’ve tried checking the built in store and it says it can’t connect as well.

When I try to set images with 4k resolution as background in Windows 10 via right-click on the desktop > Customise, I can select the image, but as soon as I do so, the desktop turns completely black, the taskbar is still there.
The option to select an image as background disappears and only solid colour is displayed.

Hey all, I am trying to use WeMod on Ghost Recon Wildlands and the message says "You must use a bypass for the game anticheat to be able to use the trainer. The bypass files and explanation on how to use them are included Link"

There are two problems with this, A) the link is broken and when I look I cannot find the files anywhere. And B) even after changing the EAC .dll file name to .dll.bak I am still unable to launch the game through WeMod. I had to take a screenshot in order to actually read the instructions as again, the link is broken. However this is what I've found:

Most likely an Nvidia setting issue, but finding certain games like CIV6 and now apps like WEMOD are having blurry text (wemod is the worst, though hovering the mouse over sharpens it for a bit)

Has anyone encountered an issue with Asus Z590-E motherboards not waking from sleep. I initially thought it was my windows settings and that did not fix it. After a bit of initial troubleshooting my only solution right now is to disable S3 sleep state and never let the PC power down or go into low power states.

Also, I disabled Asus CPU optimization and enforcing Intel limits since I read from others this may cause issues with non i7-11700K (unlocked models), Also the reason i disabled the XMP due to buy RAM 8 months apart and sometimes leading to variations in batch configurations for the same exact sku

I forgot to mention, I have already swapped Motherboard, Reinstalled windows, tested with new RAM and new NVME storage the only thing I have not changed was the processor. I am wondering if its possibly the processor is bad since memory controllers (Northbridge functionality) are now built into the cpu and as well as south bridge PCIE and I/O functionality

hello, try this it may help ok. unplug your pc then do a hard restart by pressing the power button for 10 seconds then take out the ram and then reinserting it then take out the cmos battery for 5 to 10 seconds. that's what I do when I have major pc problems like the one you describe. check the cmos battery to see its its dead or not if its dead that will cause issues as well replace with a know good cmos battery.

Hello guys, Yesterday I bought another Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB( My mobo doesn't support NVME so yeah). The thing is, I plug the ssd blah blah, and today at some point when I reinstalled Spiderman Remaster, this second ssd it disappeared from "this pc". From your power supply that isn't powerful enough for having the new SSD,
The motherboard that is defective/ broken
The SSD that is broken (if you bought it on already used). In order to check if the SSD is broken, you can use defraggler (from CCleaner), and scan your disk, it should tell how it is in a certain tab.

Hi, I'm hoping this can be answered but I have a cracked game, it updated-I download the new version.

I opened the new version, it has none of my save data but the old version does. So I've tried copying and replacing files and nothing's working. since its cracked i don't think the files are the same so trying to get your save data from the cracked onto the actual game wont work if the game has some special measures to prevent that. In every single game I've ever played that of course allows transferring saves to begin with, transferring saves to another computer, even with a different version of the game, paid or not had no issues whatsoever

If it runs today much hotter than the day you got it, then you might have to also clean it. Or else yes something like a cooling pad will help a bit but you shouldn't expect miracles either. I personally use a laptop stand on my desk which is of metal and bunch of open holes and spaces at the back and this one can even be hung next to the desk too. It can also already do a decent amount of work.

You didn't have enough space, the download and unpacking would already take more than your free space.

It doesn't you need twice the space to unpack, because the unpacking happens on the drive so the download would already have filled it up basically.

Like I said a game when you download and install you need not only space to download but to also unpack and install the game. Being a 110gb download doesn't mean you only need 110gb to install the game. Especially nba2k which is notorious of wanting ridiculous amount of space. There are also a lot of times and most likely NBA is 1 of those which refuse to install the game without a decent amount of extra space than technically required. Unless his drive or steam install is rip including permission issues, it would give you a disk error in steam.

So just to download an install the game you most likely need 240gb of free space by default and if it then has a requirement to have X amount of extra free space because NBA is crazy badly optimized especially in file structure then you can see the issue.

Issue is just especially with laptops and pcs, soldering the wrong thing together can cause a serious hazard. Soldering itself isn't hard perse, but you need a basic knowledge especially of electronics to begin.

Most of the time you can just google the dll and download it. Depending on which DLLs they might be part of a runtime library that could just be reinstalled

Not really, airflow would be a bigger impact or undervolting than actual fan curve. Most fans these days don't even spin unless you get to 60c which in most cases is basically never unless you live in a hot climate or you play something that stresses the gpu.

For gpus anything below 90 is fine, however I would put limit on 85 myself.

Turn down your input in windows, if you don't have your mic too close to your mouth.

Can also be helpful to use an online mic recording website, just to replay back to yourself how you sound.

Does anyone know of an alternative h20 cooler similar to this? On my old system my Hyper 212 was plenty enough to keep my system at reasonable temps while OC'd. The icue software was conflicting with my case lighting software....the cooler completely shut down and nearly fried my new board. I've never liked h20 cooling or read up on it much. I'm looking for one that's reliable and that's very compatible with pre existing lighting software. This Hyper 212 isn't quite enough and the noctua is way too large for my case.

There’s no option to launch w/o anticheat on Steam

Also only unlimited shields/health stay on, but all the other options turn off after trying to switch them on.
