I have used them myself, so I kinda talk from expierence is why. You kinda have to use a way better audio brand for usually far less money to kinda get what I mean xD. Audio is weird like that, it's obvious to listen for quality but from that point on it becomes more subjective.

The Nova series are best of the worst, because first time that a gamer brand cared about proper drivers. The issue is still they put bass way too high because they think everyone like to hear explosions right next to you for no reason at all and their artificial sound stage is just pretty bad to create a "7.1/5.1" channel.

Like a game one which was more than half the price would probs blow those out of the water not only in audio quality but also mic quality.

Or you could combo a a normal headphones rather than a headset with a modmic or something and still be below those and get not only a far superior mic but also way better sound for most likely less. Like they are fine, but defo not the best you can get for how much they are which imo is a shame... more gaming brands should care more to create more competition.

Oh neither am I, but yeah when you use something else for example walking or transit and then use those at home it became more obvious to me that they really weren't that great for the price.

I switched then to the 600 series of sennheiser which were openback so way less warm/heavy and sweaty, while way more neutral and became a huge difference.

A tip you can do which wouldn't even be expensive and if you have space is add like a 250GB SSD and put your windows on there. Keeps your system nice, clean and fast on the main drive and you get an extra 1TB to use for whatever else it's on there.

I prefer the advantage of NVMe. Took out all of the 2.5"/3.5" drive bays.

Helped in keeping my wiring nice and tidy in the rear cabin as well.
