Lan would be if the PC is connected directly to the router.

Dlan works in a similar way, except that it uses electrical lines in the low-voltage network [i.e. all your wiring in the power grid].

With the LAN you already get the maximum out of it. Either a pretty old mainboard, or maybe some settings are wrong.

All weak arguments, one of the beauties of game modding was that it was a community effort and trainers were often passed around for free, growing the knowledge base and expanding everyone's playing experience. Now platforms like WeMod are killing off that vision. Its one thing for a modder to sell their mods privately and take all the proceeds (I encourage this) while also leaving the community in tact, another thing for a group focused on profit to wipe away that vision. Its the way things go but not any less degenerate.

There are still plenty of places and forums where you can download free trainers, often even “open source” if you want to call it that.

But they don't bear any real responsibility/costs as far as this is concerned. You download the tool yourself, add/modify everything yourself if you know how and it's good. They don't have to pay for servers, licenses/domains, have to deal with over 3.5k games and much more. Yes definitely, it used to be almost all free. But there were also developers who 1. brought out their games ready-made and 2. already included some cheats

Or support, many make the effort to bring out a basic base for XYZ if it doesn't work afterwards or you want something new? Take care of it yourself

I can completely understand the decision and am honestly glad that Wemod has decided to continue to provide a free version [even if it is now limited to 2 hours per day]

One thing I would like to add briefly is that people do this in their free time, away from their normal job + family

Regarding your question, I’m not entirely sure which .exe file you are referring to since I only have the game on Steam. However, you can try this path: C:\Program Files\Epic Games[Game Name]. It's impossible to give an ETA to when updates or new trainers are added as the queue is controlled by pro members and their boosts. Also creators have the choice to work on weekends and are not required too if they dont want too.
