One where it says its supposedly still in early development somehow and another saying its being playtested 14 years after first tease

as of august 22 this year i not checked lately Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still alive, despite more than a decade of on-again, off-again development and the departure of its creator two years ago.

The original game was the brainchild of Rayman creator Michel Ancel, who worked for years on this sequel before announcing in September 2020 that he had left the video game industry behind for good to focus full-time on running a wildlife sanctury.

Following his departure, a French newspaper reported Ancel's management style and lack of focus on the project in recent months had been the subject of several complaints at his studio. Ancel responded to the report and refuted many of its claims, saying it was the words of "a few people with rage and jealousy" speaking "in the name of hundreds".

Work on Beyond Good & Evil 2 has continued at Ubisoft Montpellier, but the game has not been glimpsed again since, and still lacks any kind of formal launch window. @molten mortar

Armored Core Series, was what I referred to, MechWarrior is MW, (same universe as BattleTech). Big stompy robots.

I played all the AC games on console, very fast paced. MechWarrior I played on PC (2 through 5) and BattleTech I played tabletop and its steam game. They are slower paced, and BattleTech steam game uses turn base. I would have preferred the Mech Commander 1+2 Series (played those too) of real-time, but the turn base system isn't bad.

well the only game that i played with mechs in it was titanfall 1&2 and i loved it

nope, all are single player, co-op, or multiplayer modes. the PvP modes can be pretty instense, but from what I remember, its arena style (for AC) so no open warfare. Mechwarrior is a bit bigger and is more open in enviroments with a 4v4 system.

Because a game like GTA takes years to make.... a proper big open world game like that is between 6 and 10 years with thousands of ppl working on it.

A "normal" game is about 3 years, a decent large open world you talking about 6, something really large like Rockstar usually does is between 6 and 10. MMO's are at least 10 years.

Is why studios work on multiple titles including sequels at the same time, they just move the bulk of the developers to the next title once the previous one is finished. Post release teams are rather small.

They really should update their tweet that the update was reverted, people keep linking it even though it only took a couple hours to get reverted. Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the mods created for re4 remake. Unfortunately with Capcom going with new DRM restrictions, every time i boot the game now it crashes. I've tried to uninstall then reinstall the game on steam to no avail. I'm not putting this here to blame you, just making you aware that recent articles have stated they plan to do this with multiple titles. They've already done it with RE5 and tried it with Revelations but removed the patch after getting review bombed.

The only facts they have is that they keep trying to circumvent grey zones trying to give themselves false credit and having a certain bias.
