I was having hard FPS drops last night and after the 3rd crash I did a DDU and complete reinstall of video drivers, no joy. Crashed again and said eff it. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled before bed. Playing today so far I haven't had any hard FPS drops. Had a couple really small, but noticeable, ones, but other than that seems to be going ok. But I also did clear out my local store crash log folder. Had 10 GB worth of data in there since the beginning of this game.... So take it all for what it's worth. I am still expecting to experiencing some hard FPS drops/crashes... but after 3 rounds so far it's been good. Even got a dinner! LOL So.... YMMV.

Perform a clean game reinstall if you are still have the issue. Just reinstalling the game does not replace all the files.

In this case, I would recommend to check the points above in screenshot. If there is no other possibility, I would contact my provider, maybe they can help or even they can detect the issue. In my country, my Provider can do a checkup from their base to identify the issue, even its on my machine.

Hi, maybe it has been mentioned before, but i'm just gonna jump here with this. Game crashed about 4-5 times in an hour, so I looked at taskmgr and it looks like a memory leak (it 'ate' about 11GB of RAM, before finally deciding to crash once again). It's probably the reason of the crashes, but is there a way to prevent stuff like this? 😄 Never really had an experience with memory leaks before.

Hello , i have packet loss 20-25% and i see other ppl have it awswell.
What i could read was that win needed to be updated so i had a minor update that i installed now.
I also updated my driver on my motherboard and checked that my Nvidia driver was up to date.
But i still have packet loss , my internet speed is 96,15 Mbit/s down and 93,61 Mbit/s up and 12,62 ms.
What else can i do?

that's truly odd. if you're using windows, then you can sort apps in task manager by ram usage, so you can spot what junk is causing this 😄 ofc, having a browser or other stuff open eats ram as well. for context, if i have only pubg + discord open, i have (in normal conditions) about 8-9GB of all RAM used

I can play 2-3 matches before it happens. Whenever my game starts to stutter / freeze it seems that the game is using >95% of my memory and I don't know how to fix it.
I've already put in some launch options to combat this but it doesn't seem to help. Also already clean re-installed the game.

Looks like you have a similar problem to some of peeps here, me included. The problem is, if the game uses >95% of your RAM, there's not that much you can do, as far as I'm aware, because that is usually the application's problem (bad memory management, which can lead to a memory leak). Wish I could help, but my problem got somehow fixed on Windows reboot, which i'm assuming did not help for you.. :c

I have a friend that use to be able to play pubg but since last weekend to last week he is instead getting kernal crashes blue screen of death. long story short after all types of reinstalls and manual removals he even formatted and reinstalled the OS. Fresh install and same issue. he says now it may go up to 2 min before the kernal error but same thing. Hey does anyone know the fix for INITIALIZING... loading for 5-10 minuets after every game and at startup?
I've uninstalled the game twice tried getting a fps pack and changed firewall settings I've even searched reddit and it seems like this bug has been going on for 4-3 years or so and i cant find a fix anywhere. I'm guessing the "initializing" state is when it's having trouble establishing a connection with the server. But it could be any number of things, really. Best I can suggest is to try the troubleshooting steps pinned in this channel, and if those don't help, try opening a support ticket.

That does not mean that wellbia will make changes to your computer. Your computer is safe.

No one will steal your data if that is what you are fearing. The anticheat needs to be able to scan your pc for cheats and modifications of your system.

@viral raven If you watch deathcam each time you die and can confirm it's cheating then you should report it, the game functionality helps, AND take it a step further by logging into shield.pubg.com to see how bad the cheating can really get. @unborn frigate go to start menu type sysdm.cpl go advanced, advanced, performance, paging file is the top option. Set it 12000 to 16000 on the drive with windows installed, and make sure there's enough free space to help.

High cpu usage (other apps using too much)
Need optimization (follow some tutorial or instructions of optimizations that you could do for pubg and windows)
Mouse issue? (Dirty sensor lens or bad cable or new mouse feet is too high that it affects tracking performance)

Temporary fix: change from fullscreen or borderless. Or vice versa.

Hello, I just joined. I've been having an issue with PUBG. I launch the game, play one match with no troubles, then when I load into the next match, the game crashes. The game then repeatedly crashes whenever I load into a match. My only workaround is to restart my computer after each match I've played. I have a 3060 Ti, with 32 gb's of ram. This happens in all game modes with no external programs running in the background.

The stability issues are super frustrating - seems like there's always a subset of players experiencing significant and consistent issues with stutters, lag spikes, crashes, network issues, etc. - but usually there's not a consistent enough pattern to be able to determine a cause (or causes).

I know that the developers do all they can to make the game more stable on their end, but when every PC environment is different, it's so difficult (if not impossible) to control for all of the variables. But sometimes the community makes good progress at identifying them, like when the problem with DX12 was discovered.

I have constant crashes (sometimes up to 5 times in 1 match) of the game client without an error and with an error appeared only with the latest update. Sometimes I just start the PC, immediately Steam and the game instantly crashes at startup and the next 2-3 launches too. I clear the entire cache and only then does it load normally.

Perhaps some changes in the engine, the update to UE5 caused these problems. I really don't know if UE5 is already used in Pubg or not, there were some rumors.

I'm having an issue launching the game. When I launch, I see the PUBG small splash screen, then I stare at a black screen. I upgraded my GPU, and PSU, I reinstalled GPU drivers, I ran chksk and another command scan, I've tried launching it in windowed mode, I've verified, uninstalled, reinstalled and I'm stumped. Man... I hope you all are able to figure out what might be causing those crashes on your systems. Seems likely it's something local / client-side (such as the DirectX 12 issue), since most people seem to be able to play the game without issue.

I'm getting hardly any crashes now: not like I used to get last year during 14.1/14.2. But I don't know whether the difference is something in the game updates that fixed the problem, or something I may have changed on my machine.

If you have Windows 10, you can use the Windows search area using the following command.

Once you find the match which you had experienced the issue, are you able to please right click the file and click send to Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Depending in the size of the crash file, you’ll be able to drag and drop the compressed folder via a DM to myself or the this channell. If the Crash file is larger in size, then you might have to use Google Drive or a file storage website to be able to upload the crash dump file. I’ll be able to download them from my end and get them forwarded to the QA team.

(P.S if you’re using Google Drive, don’t forget to set the Share access to allow for unlisted use, as we cannot view private uploads)

If you can also upload your DXDIAG information. (This will also be grateful)

Where are you located? What type of internet do you have? How fast (up & down)? Maybe screenshot a test from fast.com (make sure to click on the option to show more details under your result to show your ping information) Is your computer connected to your router with an ethernet or WiFi?
How many other people are using the internet at the same time as you? If anyone else is using the internet, what are they doing? Browsing the internet? Streaming to twitch? Or watching Netflix etc?
Are you using a VPN?
I can see you're connecting to Singapore server in game.. can you screenshot a ping test to Singapore through another means- eg a website or something?

Sounds like it is time to re validate the game files, or do a fresh install. If that doesn't work, make sure you don't have a anti-virus software that blocks the battle eye files from running properly.

I had a few months with constant crashes, even worse when I would try to stream. I had just built my first PC and couldn't figure out what it was (this was around Nov 2019-Jan/Feb 2020). After trying absolutely everything I could find as a solution online it ended up being a corrupt NVIDIA driver. I reverted back and fourth until I finally deleted everything then did a fresh NVIDIA install, one version back and the issue was fixed. From that point on I stay 2-3 versions behind the latest update.

I think the new patch has some issues. I just had a casual game where my game crashed 3 different times in one game, third one resulting in me dying. Restarted everything, don't have any extra programs running except the game and discord, and then played another casual. Still crashed. Never had this issue before this patch.

So the game's crashed on me a few times now today in a way it hasn't before. My screen froze, I couldn't do anything. but my audio stayed working. Eventually just closed. I could hear the audio but teammates couldn't hear me. When I reconnected, I'd just run straight until I ran into something. It said I had to update .NET framework or something so I did. tried again, same crash. This time there was a pubg error window but no specific error code or anything.

For anyone with crashing issues. Reinstalling the game, drivers and disabling overclock didn't work for me.

Weirdly enough I fixed the issue by disabling startup services I don't use like Adobe or iTunes helper.

You can find this by doing WIN + R and type "msconfig". Then under "services" make sure to hide "Microsoft services" on the bottom left and disable whatever you don't use regularly.

If you don't know what you're disabling Google it beforehand.

I tested and validated a solution to a crash to desktop, "Unknown Error" without error # or any helpful message. Do not attempt if you are a regedit neophyte. Solution 1 Relatively little to no risk if directions are followed. Directions click start click run type regedit, manually select this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore and then for ONLY that key container, while on that reg key hit Ctrl + F and search for pubg and where default keys with a values similar to this are found, delete them. after deleting only in the PropertyStore branch, uninstall pubg and reinstall, the game will now load properly . Anyone elses game keep crashing? Happened 3 times in the past hour. All I get is this

we tried everything like literally everything until we eventually typed on support and they gave him few fixes none worked until they gave him last one

Anyone elses game crashing? mine crashed 4 times in a single match, once in TDM. And yes it's happening from the last one hour, no changes made to gpu or cpu overclocking settings. Any help would be appreciated

GAME CRASHES ONCE IN ~10 MINUTES. RAM memory consumption for the game process grows up from 4GB to 24GB, while stuttering in the meanwhile when it allocates more memory. So when it reaches ~23-24GB it crashes. Your coders suck at their job...

I had the exact same issue. I installed a program called Advanced SystemCare. It's a program that puts this bar (see attached image) on your desktop. If you click the button with the pin on the left it clears the unused chached RAM. It bugs out your game for a second but it resolved the issue for me (also crashed some times when u click it). You will have to keep using it when the game's used RAM goes up skyhigh ofcourse.

Sometimes the game change render resolution on its own, might be that

Overall graphics and map design was already outdated when the game was in early acces so don't expect anything fancy

and playing with high quality visuals is an major decrease in your chances to win a match

3rd point: Having foliage on low decrease the render distance on grass, so people hiding can be seen closer compared to having foliage on high

1st point: could be a solution
Render resolution should be at 100% for a 1 to 1 render with resolution setting, if below it downscales making the game look worse
might also want to check the resolution setting so it matches your display
