12GB memory is an odd configuration to start with. Chances are your system is running in single channel mode.

Because video card memory and RAM are different things. You can run the game fine on a 4GB card

Im saying you should upgrade your RAM, not your video card memory

Loading issues and LOD issues like you showed are rarely GPU related. They are often linked to RAM and the speed of your storage (HDDs being slower than SSDs)

For example, 8GB of ram in 1x8GB config is slower than 2x4GB because it runs in single channel rather than dual (assuming the 2 sticks are installed correctly too), but usually its more about the quantity.

The way RAM works is to load into memory all the things (or as much of it as it can) that are needed to perform tasks. If you have insufficient ram to load all of those things, it has to keep swapping things in and out of storage, which is much slower in most cases.

Throw an extra 8GB into your system and make sure it is running in dual channel mode. That should solve your issue.

Thats your call. But loading issues are ususally related to not having enough RAM. 8GB for todays modern games is very low, 16GB should be the desired mininimum for optimal performance

8GB is the minimum required. I personally recommend treating recommended specs as minimum specs.

Depends entirely on what graphics settings and resolution you are playing at. But when it comes to how quickly things load, thats rarely related to the GPU memory. 4GB video cards work fine for PUBG. My friend uses a 3GB 1060 with no issues

It should be instant. Can you go to your drops page on twitch and confirm that you have claimed the drops? You have to manually claim them when you become eligible to receive them after watching a stream for the needed amount of time

Our full team just got temp banned in a ranked game. VOD of the incident is attached. There was a team north of our position (Gatka) that were super fishy (bolt action knocks through fully developed smokes). I am guessing that they somehow manage to issue so many reports on people that you get temp banned automatically. Please have a look at this, thanks. Oh; I see. You're shooting the video over air using a cell phone instead of taking a screen capture video from the same PC. That's what made it look like mobile at first glance.

(It would help with visibility if you shot it in landscape rather than portrait orientation if you're going to do that.)

I've been asking for years to add this option with a minimap! This is for what I still can't accustomed in the Pubg! Because all the games that I know or play (GTA, RDR, CS, Dota, Battlefield, Call Of Duty, Valorant, Apex) have a minimap on the left, but in the Pubg for some reason it is on the right! I don't understand why, especially because adding such an option with the minimap position is not difficult...

Set the CPU Clock/Voltage manually or you can use the CPU multiplier(Ratio)
Set the RAM to DUAL-Band Channel (2x Grey or 2x Black Slots is Different on any Mainboard )
Set HT(HyperThreading) off only for TslGame.exe (Can use the lasso tool) and configure Lasso Correctly
Set AMD Anti-Lag (ON) in the AMD Software or Ultra low latency mode -> ULTRA in Nvidia Control Panel

Hi, hoping someone can help. Recently reinstalled and opened pubg again after a while away. Everything is fine except that whenever I open the inventory my FPS drops to near zero, my GPU usage to near zero and my ping goes from 22ms to 700+ms. I'm not sure if one is causing the others. There's some sort of bullet registration issues going on with SEA AZ block.
I've gotta shoot around 12 bullets for a LV1 vest guy to get him knocked.

Whitelisting the entire folder isn't a good security practice, as any malware that gets on your system could then hide out somewhere in that folder. Try just whitelisting all of the Steam and tsl-game related files that Task Manager shows are running while PUBG is running. (Maybe a <@&208909936514695168> would know the specific files that need to be whitelisted for PUBG and the BattlEye / anti-cheat executable[s]?)

It might. Try downclocking the memory to more stable frequencies (start at 3600) as that can cause system isn tability.

Once you go past 3600, most of the time you see a reduction in performance anyway.

Try verifying your game cache on steam
Try this as well go into the game files (right click on pubg in your steam game list, then select properties, local files tab, browse local files) and navigating to PUBG/TslGame/Content/Paks/. Once you are there delete all files that DO NOT begin with 'pakchunk'. Once they are deleted, verify game files and try running the game afterward.

Hey, please unlink your twitch from krafton ID, then unlink your pubg connections on the twitch website then proceed to relink twitch from the drops page on twitch and see if this fixes your issue

Just FYI, i got a friend that he got more folders than myself on the folder "Saved" please see the image and he never had any crash and nothingelse. every perfect ON pubg. Everything what i am missing is the yellow

since 4-5 weeks i have random crashes in pubg. sometimes ingame, sometimes even in the 60fps lobby...

i had contact with the offical support and i did all those like twenty steps they told me i should do....

the game crashes to windows (screenshot) and want to send a report.

if i take a look at the windows event log, there is every time the same error --> ID: 4101 (Event ID 4101 - Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered)

i played other games (WoT & Superpeople) and they work fine...

maybe anyone in here has an idea?

this has happened before where I launch the game and it turns green on steam then back to white and doesnt launch. I have reinstalled the game I have verified integrity of game files I even moved it from my disk drive to my solid state. Nothing is working. I even ran a sysen file check and that didnt work.

'ok so this is where i am at with the game not launching I unplug my router and the game will launch

figured this out today

then after it launches I plug my router back in after the game launches and it says failed to initialize with steam

im rolling back my nvidia driver update to novembers because the december 1st update is about when mine stopped launching i will post what hapopens when I am done

I rolled back my drivers and it works now

make sure you restart your pc after you roll back as it would not work again until i restarted my pc

@orchid notch Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I have the same problem as you with not receiving the challenge rewards. I got my crates the first couple of days then it suddenly stopped working, I didn’t change anything, no unlinks whatsoever. I did contact their support and they said they were aware of the issue and are working towards a fix. Hopefully, it will get fixed and you’re not the only one with this issue😊

That happens sometimes; usually you can just close that window and try launching PUBG again.

Might be that the process is already running but hung; check in Task Manager to see if tslgame.exe is already running. If so, kill the process, wait a minute, and then try to relaunch. (I've also sometimes had to close and relaunch Steam when I can't get PUBG to launch.)

I think the next steps would be a reboot, and then probably uninstall PUBG, delete the folder, and then reinstall. (A caveat, though: Others here know more about the recommended procedures than me; I'm basing this on what I've read here. Check your Windows error logs and also check for any PUBG crash reports (see the pinned messages in this channel), and other than that, probably it's time to put in a request with PUBG support.
