Double click the mouse wheel.

To mark an item, you need to be looking at it and within pickup-range. You hit middle mouse button once when it's highlighted and the game will mark the item (ie "Here is UMP45")

To mark an enemy, you need to line up your crosshair with any geometry, and double-click the middle mouse button. (ie "ENEMY CONTACT %range %deg")

What kinds of internet speeds do you get there? The game is putting you in Southeast Asia servers which I'd imagine would still be reasonable, but there can be any number of reasons why your ping is high.

Poor internet or downloads running in the background, unless it's happening to everyone else on the server, I can't see it being the server/game at fault.

How long have you been playing PUBG for?

It takes a good while to get used to if you're new to it. Also helps to have good headphones/sound setup. I found when I was new to the game, it helps to rotate quickly to locate the source of the sound once it hits the centre channel.

I should mention there's a bug atm where distant sounds play very close to the player in weird ways so there could be some of that happening too, I'm still trying to work out reproduction steps so I can bug it to the devs.

The simple truth is that the current player base in most regions just isn't healthy enough to allow for that, especially without making other compromises.

PUBG will not modify files or make changes to your computer. This is standard anti cheat related stuff. It basically means that if you do not allow the anti cheat systems to check for abnormalities / PUBG game file modifications you will not be able to play the game.

Hey, I hope someone can help me here, since this happens only with PUBG for me. So I am playing pubg for a while now. Everything was good, but a week ago I noticed that my fps drops to 40 (from 120-140) after playing for 15 minutes. When I am looking at the sky, fps cannot go more than 59. After another 15 minutes everything goes to normal. Interesting thing that I, or it itself somehow fixed the problem for couple of days. No fps drops at all, fps was constantly around 100, but now it turned back. I thought it might be overheating since I am playing on laptop. The most hot thing is cpu. 80-85 degrees, so I thought it just slows down the performance to cool down, but I checked and my cpu is working at the same speed as it worked on 100fps.

In case you need my setup:

Also yes, I turned off fullscreen optimization, fixed that DPI Stuff and compatibility, High Performance mode on battery.

Im playing in Asia psn. In my home server I get around 130 ping on a good day, atleast I used to but since a long time I've been having constant packet loss 3% to 8% plus 160 ping.

If your ping has changed then that sounds like the route your connection is taking has changed, possibly due to a faulty routing node or something else

Best thing to try is using a VPN to see if it changes anything (ping might increase, but if the packet loss vanishes then that suggests a routing issue)
