5) I tried to make exclusions in windows defender firewall and windows defender (i also turned them off) but still

7) i tried to change startup type of "Security Center" and "Windows Managment Instrumentation"

Pubg pc has started to stutter a lot! My device:
Lenovo legion y540, GTX 1650 4GB, 8GB RAM, installed on SSD.
It used to run smoothly, with only anti aliasing at ultra, rendering distance at ultra and every other setting at very low, I used to get around 110-130fps. Now I after a recent update, I only get 80-100 fps with a LOT of stuttering, has become totally unplayable.

I think that has something to do between the mouse or the mouse software and the cpu usage when first loading the game. I'd try lowering the polling rate of your mouse to the next lower option in your mouse software app.

My game is stuck on Initializing. Yesterday it was doing it sometimes between matches and a Restart Lobby would sort it out. Today I was unable to get into the game at all. Re-installed completely and then managed to play 1 game of TDM. Now it is just sat Initializing again. Any ideas on what I should be looking for? (I've re-booted, re-installed, re-started my router and my modem)

You seem to have done everything I would advise to do.

Did you completely remove all pubg folders after uninstalling the game as this can make old problems reappear even after a fresh install of the game

I re-installed it to a different drive

Removed it through steam, then installed again. Noticed afterwards that it was a different drive and the original location had a couple of files hanging around, so deleted them afterwards

@worn plinth It looks like the reset has done the job for now. I've been able to start the game, exit and start it again without it hanging on the loading screen. I have to reconfigure all of my audio settings and setup my mouse button binds again before I try a proper game tomorrow.

Well, I managed to break it again. At least I now have a better idea of what it was.

As soon as I went through the process of calibrating my monitor using DataColor's SpyderXElite software PUBG stopped working.

The end result of the calibration process is that a custom colour profile is assigned to each monitor.

Uninstalling the calibration software did not allow PUBG to work and only removing the assigned colour profiles resolved the issue.

When I first switched to an SSD it was just after Miramar was introduced to the game. At the time you were pretty much guaranteed to crash anytime you drove on Miramar. Faster storage meant I got back into the game faster. Later on when not getting into the match until half-way through the flight path or buildings not being loaded was almost guaranteed every match, having the game installed on an SSD meant that I didn't have to deal with any of that.

Even now, the faster internal storage of the new consoles is one of the most tangible and noticeable improvements over the previous generation of consoles. Faster storage definitely helps, in a variety of ways.

I do now, yes. Even with that, I still use an external SSD for some titles. Games that have received a Series update often require being installed on the internal storage, while other backwards compatible titles don't. So I can save that internal space for games that need it.

Honestly most external HDDs were actually faster than the internal HDD in the original Xbox One. The result of those systems being SATA II, meant that USB 3 external hard drives actually had faster speeds than the internal.

There is no point appealing temp bans. By the time anyone replies to the ticket you're unbanned after the timeout. When you do get a reply it's an automated piece of garbage. Then when a real person replies they essentially laugh at you and say "suck it"

I also played a match or two this morning before the ban message came up.

Yeah, that sorta the issue. It's a bug related to a ban, but the bans were reversed. I don't have it on my steam account any longer, but it still is showing up in game and preventing me from playing with a 100 year ban, which seems odd...like it's a typo.

And don't go by the kill cams or replays.. these replays are usually not representing the actual recoil control. Replays for some reason show as if the player has almost zero recoil... It has never been accurate.
