You need to completely remove the driver before reverting back or it won't work

Use ddu in safe mode then install the old drivers. You will get a lot better fps

Search Google for the best nvida driver for your card with pubg and you should be good

I did it last night after loosing close to 40 fps and I've gained 50 back 🙃

the 2 updates you need to look for are KB5001330 and KB5001337. these have been out for some time and would have affected a lot of users even on patch 11.1. its more of a microsoft issue but there is also a nvidea driver issue as well as the windows update that caused the full screen optimisation bug. so i would look at all 3 issues.

The profile thing is a requirement if their nVidia global settings don't work well with anti aliasing. It can basically cause the game script to get stuck, because of no way to turn anti aliasing off. So best method is to work with it
Via the application controlled settings in there. All the best. I had this issue and fixed it with this method 👍 @devout matrix

I did it to everything for this game, but above got it working with just modifying AA to be App controlled.

What was the crash error? @torpid bone further crashes can be your windows paging file. Go to sysdm.cpl from start menu,
Advanced, performance advanced again. Opening paging file, or top menu and set custom to 12000 min
Max around 16000 if you have 16GB of ram.

@frail rivet I don’t think that’s going to work, especially with all the anti-cheat software that PUBG needs to run. If you have an Intel Mac, just use Bootcamp to partition your drive and install Windows 10. It’ll run natively in Bootcamp. Virtual machines aren’t good for gaming unless the game is really old and the computer is recent.

Its impossible to be sure, but this sounds like an ISP level issue that you should talk to them about

why does PUBG on PC use over 4 GB of ram

because its a battle royale and needs ram to keep map, characters and other stuff loaded

for everyone whose game crash during a match but not while they are in a lobby, this is related to gpu not getting enoungh power resulting in a driver crash
this can be fixed by underclocking the gpu and turning down the power limit(in my case, i underclocked my rx580 by 5% and set power limit to -5%)
due to some optimization issues within the game, sometimes it requests more power than needed to render something and the psu can't provide enoungh power for a period of time resulting in a driver/game crash
how i came to this conclusion?
pubg wasnt the single game to do this kind of behaviour
in apex legends i experienced the same crashes only in fights when the gpu had to use more power in order to render more effects, textures etc.
i hope this will help someone since this also helped me fix the game crashes

no problem. Also if you pick only one healing item of a sort, but that person has more i think you can complete the mission by picking up 3 of the same kind up one after the other. So you can pick up 3 first aids and complete the mission if you pick them up one after another from the deathbox. Atleast that is how it used to work. Can't say if it is the same this time though.

I'm here to report massive performance drops and stuttering after patch 11.2 (and the recent small patches after). Previously my GPU would be at 90-100% usage and pushing avg. frame rates between 135-144 fps. Now, my GPU usage is between 30-60% depending on the map, with framerates as low as 60fps when multiple characters are on screen.

Specs: RTX 3090, Ryzen 5950X, 128GB RAM, X570 Motherboard, latest Nvidia Studio drivers, latest BIOS, latest AMD CPU drivers.

I've seen some other people have posted what looks like similar behavior in this thread since 11.2. Will the team be addressing this in a future patch, or is the issue still of unknown origin?

There is no such thing as a list of available names. You have 16 characters and your creative freedom to assemble one!

A good way of checking if the one you want to use is already in use would be to go to one of the player stat sites like pubg.lookup or the pubg op.gg site and try searching for a player with the name you want to use. If there are none then you will be probably able to use that one!

Based on my understanding from previous explanations,
You are encouraged to report your teammate(s) by using in-game method or PUBG support website.
So if you kill the teammate that killed other teammate intentionally, PUBG system will consider you team-kill and issue temp ban for you as well.

So the worst case scenario is you will be killed by your teammate(s) without you shooting them back, the only thing you can respond to their misconduct is by reporting them.

I don't know if this works with you guys, but try to right-click PUBG in steam and go to properties then local files, and click verify integrity of game files. It will validate files and redownload the latest version. That's how I fixed my issue. Might fix yours too

Crashes can happen for a multitude of different reasons. Some are game related, some hard hardware related, others can be OS related.

Obviously the result you see is that the game crashed, but its highly unlikely that the cause of the crash was the same one you encountered years before.

Looking at my own crash logs, i've crashed no more than once a month since the start of the year, so I am curious why yourself and others crash more

PUBG has no fix for theese freezes. Their troubleshooting doesnt work, and their support cant help you. Only thing they say is do clean install of everything and hope for the best. You just have to wait for another game to come out so we can quit PUBG 😦

When creating custom "esports" games for a tournament, does anyone know the exact difference between normal mode and global rule settings? normal mode says "normal loot and esports spawns". does this mean the loot is just like a normal game or is the loot like a ranked game? im looking to setup games with ranked-like loot.

anybody else have any issues running the game in full screen? i'm getting some weird green/purpley mixture of graphics flickering at the lower half of my screen, runs fine in borderless though - but performance wise full screen would be more ideal?

hmm guess it might be fine in borderless actually was just taking a minute to pick up my mouse options for some reason, everything was extremely low until it lagged for a second then seemed back to normal possibly because i haven't played in awhile. ;l

Dear PUBG Corp: What the F are you guys doing? After several contacts, reports and tried fixes. The game is STILL crashing. I can go 1-2 weeks without crashing and then suddenly it can crash 2 times within the same game. Ive done everything, all troubleshooting, clean installs of both game and windows.
