@vivid thistle Usually when it's my first game of the day I drop to populated areas and fight as much as possible to practice my aim. I usually drop to isolated areas when Im trying hard to get a win. Really depends on your preferred playstyle too!

I really like the new features. My game stopped crashing, but with the longer loading times i came to experience some unique rounds of pubg. Formerly I spawned below the map, because the map loaded after i dropped with the parachute. But just now, on Erangel, i got kicked off the aircraft, like that poor doctor on that United Airlines flight several months ago. By the way the loot on spawn island is still there. I just had to share this with someone, while i wait for my new PC upgrades.

So the Loading Lobby (White Screen Bug) is now the the PUBG logo bug. Its the same problem just with a different face. Ive talked to support about it and they said theyd work on it. @harsh vale Depends on your graphics card, internet connection rate and in game graphics settings. Anti-Aliasing is suppose to help and probably does to some very limited extent but remembering that there are lots of curved lines in graphic representation of the map and to make it worse a lot of those object are in motion so keeping their outlines smooth is a major undertaking. More graphics card power, fast internet connection speed and locking your frame rate to 60fps (the game defaults to 1000 which is a HUGE waste of GPU power) will be about as much as you can do to minimize the effect.

i have a 1060 so it shouldnt be my graphics card, internet connection shouldnt matter because i have 700mbits, and i just keep everything on normal except the anti aliasing which i keep on ultra. Some textures like hair and clothes even flicker in the main menu.

hello 😃 new to PUBG and this might be a stupid question, however, here goes
i am not able to pin any other location on the map than my present location, no matter wich type of keybindings i use it allways mark the current location of my character, but tagging and untagging in itself does work,
although the the menu that popsup wich has the help/commands to use the map, always show the same commands despite i change them
no matter where i click, even when i earoplane thats outside the whole map area, it selects the position current position
everythings else ive gotten to work 100%, nvidia/game settings, launch options, all other keybinds work 100%
i did google and there were alot of topics on waypoint marking but i didnt find any with this specific type of problem
all help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance

i opened it... checked and saw 2 lines with related values, and they were like supposed to be... and i closed it, it closed without save prompt so nothing was touched
this was many games after... and the problem was present from 1st install...
i guess i should delete and redownload everythings, has to be a problem on main install itself...

FWIW, I had a lot of problems with all kinds of bindings when I was binding a character that apparently was illegal in .ini files - the game let me bind it, but then when reloading the game all binds started acting very odd.

@umbral night Current position bind is meant to be used as a way to mark your location so if you find some loot which your teammate may like they can head to the right building to get it. Also useful for marking location of vehicles when you leave them to investigate something.
