I'm not telling you to quit playing on Epic; I'm suggesting that you test to see whether it's just an Epic issue or a problem launching on both platforms. That will be helpful info.
You don't have to keep the Steam installation. It's free anyway, so you may as well test it.

A lot of us are having the same issue. idk why we have to initialize with steam when we play on epic games. Apparantly this issue has been happening for a day or two now, idk why they haven't resolved it yet, I've never seen such a lack of support from the devs where they still haven't found out after DAYS.
We've all tried verifying the files.
We've all tried uninstalling and then reinstalling again.
We've tried going in the files to fail running it as administrator.
We've tried running epic games as administrator.
We've even tried unlinking our steam accounts from our Krafton accounts.
This isn't our issue, this is the game's issue. Once again, the fact that they haven't said anything about it is sad. Idk why it should be taking this long for them to not realize that their game isn't working.
I've emailed them abt 9 hours ago and waiting for a response, I'll keep you guys updated.

nope. my pubg steam was already uninstalled. i just installed it on steam. launchewd my game on Epic then it worked.....

but try to get ghillie suit in all maps maybe you get it only in one specific map

CLEAR THE EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER CACHE
The cache files contain information about previous uses of the launcher. Deleting these files, and then letting the Launcher rebuild them again can sometimes fix issues like this.
On PC:
In the lower right corner click on the arrow pointing up (the chevron)
Right-click on the Epic icon in the pop up window
Select Exit
Press the Windows key and tap the R key, this will open a run window
Type %localappdata%
Press the Enter key, this will open File Explorer
Open the EpicGamesLauncher folder
Open the Saved folder
Right click and select delete on:
webcache
webcache_4147
webcache_4430
There may only be one or two of the files present
RUN THE EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER AS AN ADMINISTRATOR
Running the Launcher as an administrator elevates its permissions to avoid problems with downloading games, for example.
Follow these steps to run the Launcher as an administrator:
Right-click your Epic Games Launcher shortcut.
Click Run as Administrator.
REINSTALL THE EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER
Note: The following process will remove all of your installed games.
Follow these steps to run the system file checker then reinstall the Epic Games Launcher:

The fact that we have to uninstall epic shouldn’t even have to occur. They need to fix their game!!!

I'm having a similar issue trying to run PUBG from Steam. Press play, game runs as a background app and doesn't launch. I've tried all of the recommended fixes with only slight luck (completely removed and reinstalled the Steam launcher yesterday, after which PUBG worked once. Tried to launch today and ran into the same problem). I'm downloading the Epic launcher to try that. - Issue was first noticed on the evening of the 19th.
- PUBG is taking literally 10 min to launch each time.
- Battle pass is not loading (either rewards or missions) restarting the lobby doesn’t solve.
The game is installed on steam and m.2 ssd.
Anyone else having these issues?

As far as I understand it, only official PUBG Partners are able to report stream snipers directly. If you're not an official partner, you'll likely have to keep sending the evidence to support using their website ticketing system.
I believe this is a guide for after-match-lobby-loading-delay. It never affected the boot up.

MMR works, but it's irrelevant if there aren't enough human players to make more than one lobby at a time.

I've been having the exact same issue with launching from steam, started in the 19th for me. I downloaded PUBG from the Epic launcher and played successfully for a few days, only to experience the same error today.
I submitted a ticket and sysinfo file to the PUBG helpdesk. Hopefull they can get to the bottom of it. Glad it isn't just me though.
Krafton puts out an announcement when they have applications open. Otherwise you'd have to contact them directly to see if there are other official channels for that.

so i literally let the game sit on the "running" status for an our or two and i saw a message that the TSI.exe file didnt let me run because i dont have administrative permissions...
I went thru my only account which is labeled as admin and double checked all the settings
then i went to the tsi.exe file and checked the box that says run with admin privelages...

Is anyone having issues with limited interaction not working on console? I used to have it bound to lb+down on d pad. But ever since the patch it stopped working. And now i can’t get it to work on absolutely anything. Tried resetting all bindings, using type a type b or custom. It doesn’t work no matter what I do. Like many companies these days, they don't have the best customer support.
I did the test few times and it gives me 0% packet loss. I'd say that my net is good. Atleast in every other game it does well but in PUBG it's horrible. The ping is worst in the beginning of the match but when I'm in the last ~20 people it's somewhat stable and stays mostly under 100.

hey guys, I was playing a ranked match with three Chinese players, we landed in a spot and I landed in a house with zero guns, three enemies landed with us and my teammates killed them, so I was a bit late to join the fight. When I joined them one of my teammates knocked me down and the other killed me, and the one who knocked me down started saying "what the fuck are you doing?" I recorded the replay and there was absolutely no justification for what they did.
The thing is, this is a ranked match and I reported them but I'm not satisfied with the punishment system of PUBG, first every player has his own way of strategizing and such players are like parasites and they should be banned forever. I am not satified with the punishment from the report because they banned them for one week only, is there anyway to contact PUBG support for further actions?
and by the way, when I told them I was going to report them, he said "do whatever you want".

Friends, I already consulted with support by email, but they did not solve anything for me. Bans from reports usually start as 24-hour temp bans for the investigation period. If they find cause, they'll update it to something longer.
I sent them a video, there was absolutely no justification for the kill. I was shocked at how it happened
I had the exact same issue for a long time.
The suggestion to disable the firewall didnt help me back then. Warp-VPN was a good workaround.
Please take some time and make a thorough report to the pubg-support, check the link below. I have done this and aprox. 1 month later it was fixed after a pubg update. Its a bit tedious but i guess its worth it. It actually fixed it for all my friends who live in the same city as i do.

Is there a way to report someone from pubg technical support? Because that the amount of time you are making me wait to solve my problem seems ridiculous to me... I reported the absence of 6000 g-coins that I purchased on July 4, I put clear capture and proof of my purchase, the order number as well as the date. The guy only took a day to check just to say the orders that had been delivered to me. (About 6000 on July 2 and another 1000 on July 4) And assuming that the request and the problem was resolved, it took many more days to respond to my I complained (with proof) and the guy simply made me wait longer saying that my account would be carefully reviewed on purchases. Simply absurd considering that he already reviewed it previously and made a mistake when interpreting the information. Even with the clear problem evident and with the previous information, it is only lengthening the process and at this point I am very angry with the terrible PUBG xbox support service.

Uninstalled pub and all associated files. Reinstalled. Did it again. Installed on my c drive instead of g drive where I keep my games. What the heck is going on.

For your last question: Once the boxes are gone, they won't re-appear in the store. So you'd need to get them right away on console, and pay attention to the expiration time shown in the store and special crafting pages.
So your best option is to pick option 1 (compensation).

Drivers, windows etc. - all updated, files integrity - done (multiple times), PC restarted multiple times like never before, no changes.

Ayo, sometimes when i launch the game, the interface kind of glitches. The game never gets displayed on the screen, only in the taskbar.
I cannot click on anything except the taskbar.
Cannot shut it down with task manager because once i open it, i cannot click inside it.
I right clicked steam, shut steam down and the game continued to run.

I had the 7900 XTX OC until recently and no issues there so I can only imagine that maybe your cpu overheats and/or that your CPU is too powerful for the GPU which causes overall bad performance.

What you refer to happend nearly every big patch to me on my amd gpu but those issues went away with going to nvidia.
I do have a couple of friends who frequently complain about FPS issues after patches tho.
Mainly those with lower end specs.

My game keeps Freezing as you can see in the video. Everything was smooth last update
I also tried reinstalling the game and just to be sure , I also reinstalled windows
to be specific this only happened after Fantasy Royale was released

Once that hard system lock happens, the hard reset switch or power cycle is the only option; waiting won't help. It's definitely not an issue with PUBG specifically; if you're commonly getting that kind of hard-lock failure, it's probably a hardware issue.
What CPU do you have?
Empty Hideout on PS5 - So the last few days, I have been struggling to get into the Hideout tab, especially using L1 from the Workshop tab. Then when it does load, it remains empty. I have now cleared PS5 cache, rebuilt DB, reinstalled twice, and the issue persists. Any ideas of why it happens and how to resolve? TIA
Could be a network issue, with not getting the info from the servers to populate the hideout. Have you tried using a VPN to see if it works that way?
Network seems fine, getting full 500/500 on Fibre Lan and Wifi. Can't load a VPN on PS, so can't check that. Also, then other tabs will also be affected, which are not. literally only Hideout is an issue

Well, usually when we see that empty screen it's because something's wrong with the client-server communications. Anyway, try the pinned messages here & search the channel to see what others have done to resolve the same issue.

I'll also add that I had the same problem (just the Hideout screen not populating) for about a week after an update sometime last year, but it cleared up. Wasn't universal though (some people had it, most did not), so we couldn't pin it down to a specific server problem or code issue.
Report it to support, in any case. The more data they get, the faster they can track it down if the problem is on the PUBG end.

After you click the Apply for Reimbursement or Compensation button, it gives you two options. Option 1 will give you G-Coin equal to half* of the amount that you spent on NewJeans-related items during the compensation period but will leave your current item inventory as-is.
Option 2 will remove and reset all of your item purchases (not just the NewJeans related purchases), event and pass rewards, and progressive weapon skin upgrades, since June 12. You'll receive a full refund for those G-Coin purchases in the same G-Coin. Option 2 means that your inventory will be rolled back to the state it was in before the June 12 update.
Once an option is selected, it cannot be changed. Support cannot be provided for incorrect applications, so please choose carefully.

I have Intel I5-7500 CPU and while using it normally it works fine and the temperature is above 55°C, but when I start PUBG the temperature drops below 45°C and everything became so laggy and I have to restart my computer to get the normal function of the CPU. Hi, I am looking for someone, who helps me!
I have trouble about Battleye error code: [25] Bad service Version. I looked hunderds of videos and hunderds of tips on supporting open chats and so on.
I reinstalled my game 4 times, I reinstalled OS W11 2 times, I deleted cache steam multiple times, I uninstall BE and install it back and multiple times i deleted the files of BE.
The error code is still not solved. It take 1-3 games and after that I finished up the matches, my game crashed from lobby of another starting match, before airplane starts and get back to lobby of the game.
Is there someone who knows some good tips for solve?
I also tried to install avast and after no change, I tried it without OS defender and avast. Nothing happend and my problem is not solved. Please help amigas.

Well i made a support ticket but from what i know pubg only milks players for money not quite helping them. i dont see whats wrong with my game. i was running it even at the 12800x700 70% resolution and it was still just freezing as soon as i join a match

Yes, totally the game's fault as I don't get it in other games.

...for reference, I got an old (but then high performance) system (8700K, 32GB RAM, 1070ti) and it takes ages to load the game, somethign around 70-80 seconds until I can do stuff in the game

I have a strange problem with PUBG. I haven't been able to start the game for over a year. Always when i click Run i see the splash screen ror 10 seconds, followed by a crash screen that says "a PUBG process has crashed".
Specs:
5950x, pbo off
32gb ram at 3800
rtx 3080 10g
w11 pro
I play on Steam. I've verified the integrity of game files, uninstalled and reinstalled, moved the game to another drive, tried all the fixes on google, i've deleted the PUBG contents in %AppData%/ and regular save data, my graphics driver is up-to-date, i've tried DDU, installed latest bios. Absolutely nothing has worked.

Have you checked the voice in audio settings?
Is it set to toggle/disable? Did you bind another key to toggle voice? Are you sure your mic is connected to your pc and it’s not just your speakers that are in the input/output?

For the pc input/output you can go in a vc in this server n test it or even in the discord settings it’ll tell you if there’s a mic detected

i have a problem with my friend on the right "Lutfilah" of the screenshot. he seems to be in a match but he said that he's not playing rn. and whenever i checked on him, its always says that he's in a team with a player on the left named "mashood95". i have already checked my match history and none of the teammates were named that. rn he's trying to log in but in the meantime does anybody know whats going on

So, i think i found my issue here. even tho the gun and else still not rendering properly. the main culprit is GeForce Experience. i've uninstalled it and the game run smooth now
