(fingers crossed) the problem that I have with pubg rn is that they mostly focus on the microtransactions rather than the optimization of the game itself, pubg is almost 7years and every update its performance keeps getting worse

Regarding the lag spikes, I play Quake Champions and they recently migrated to Azure from AWS. Huge lag spikes now noted on the servers, in EU particularly. Lots of people complaining. In both PUBG and QC, I have spiked from 30ms to 200ms, then after few minutes it drops back down. This is noted in Frankfurt datacenter and Norway (EU Central and EU North in Quake). Just thought I'd share this as my gut feeling is its something at the infrastructure level that goes further than one game. I am in the UK btw.

You should keen an eye on the inputs and outputs in windows audiosettings. Maybe its switching?! Ive seen pubg not taking switching between audiodevices so well. Always required a gamerestart.

this is my comment on their last perma banned players report, where my account is in page 32 (look up for "kuma"):

In page 32 (or more easily, just search for "kuma") you can see my Epic account perma banned, even though I'm not a cheater/hacker. I got perma banned for that reason; I know cause, even though perma bans don't say the cause, my Steam backup account has been getting temp banned 3 times now this week, every time for 24 hrs, for "hack/cheats" (temp bans give this info). I have a video on Youtube (TheVichikuma, last video, activate subtitles for clarity, check description for context) showing how I get temp banned for hacks/cheats in my Steam account when I'm not using any other software other than the game itself and the screen recorder. You can see that cause I played on window screen mode, and I show the task manager before starting the game and after getting the ban but before closing the game.
My main account in Epic, the one perma banned (I don't even know why that one got perma banned instantly but the Steam one has 3 temp bans this week for 24hrs instead) had 2175 hours of gameplay, 200+ gold level (that is, 1200 level), I had Manager role in my clan, had plus activated, bought several batlle passes, etc.
So, in the list of perma banned players, you can see usernames that look like bot names of hackers, but also 3 or 4 per page that look legit. Mine is one of them. THIS GUYS AREN'T BANNING SOME OF THE HACKERS AND INSTEAD BANNING LEGIT PLAYERS, THAT'VE PUT MONEY, TIME, TRUST AND HOPES IN THIS GAME. I won't sit still until I get my account unbanned. In the meantime, don't play and don't waste money on this game; at any moment what happened to me can happen to you.

Personally, I don't mind if one time you give a link to a video with evidence of a claim you're establishing; that seems appropriate to me. Game stutters a tonne
Especially the first march after launching the game. The maximum amount of stuttering occurs during the aircraft flight and the jump. The game completely freezes quite often and then suddenly it says network lag and everything is back to normal until it happens the next time.
Happens all the time during flight and drop of first match after launching the game and randomly during matches. Fps is often below 60
Playing at 1080 lowest settings
Specs: R3 3200G, RTX 2060, 16gb ram, running the game off an ssd.

Guys .. My voice chat is working fine till I am diving with parachute . And as soon as I land on the ground my voice chat bug . I can't hear my teammates or can't hear me anymore .. I can hear them and speak to them when I'm back to lobby again .. In Game Master sound is working fine in all , only voice chat is bug.

ok so, i've had an issue with the in-game vc for about a week now. My mic does not work and i cannot hear my teammates or anyone in all chat. Have honestly tried everything i can think of to fix this including, checking game integrity, reinstalling the game, resetting settings to default, updating graphic drivers, checking steam and windows have the right device selected, reinstalling audio drivers, turning it off and on again. Nothing is fixing it. The strange part is that it detects my mic as working, when i hover over 'microphone volume' in the voice chat settings the bar moves as if its picking up my mic. Also, when in-game and i try the push to talk, i get the 'cannot use all chat for the first 1 minute of game' pop up so it knows its there. I know all chat is a different setting but it still shows no output next to my name insquad icon and i can never hear any of my teammates either since this has happened. No idea what i'm meant to do at this point as i feel like i've done everything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

1. set to **Push2talk **

2. %localappdata%\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini search for bUseGlobalVoice=True & bUseTeamVoice=True (make sure both is set to TRUE)

3. checked if "windows microphone desktop" is allowing pubg to use the mic

4. Voicechat uses a RTC connection (separate from the game main connection) so could be a server issue (pubg already have a lot of problem with their servers)

Two things that PUBG-BTS-DEVs never fixed:
memory leak & cpu drawcalls

may u can set to dx11 (if not already)
limit ur framerate to a average (400max 330average 50min) then limit to 300 or 330fps
pubg dont like high ram speeds! so u can try underfrequency/disable xmp (3600 > 3200) the same way for ddr5.

it is unacceptable to need to downgrade my system just for play a broken game (i igree)
but if WANT TO PLAY THIS BROKEN GAME...you need to accept any option 😢

"maybe" is good for the new intel architeture (biglittle) but..ms already did the update on the windows kernel/api to work flawless in both dx11/dx12

What helped me in my case was to disable the fullscreen optimization. I had issues after updating from win10 to 11.

Dear PUBG , i have taken in some info and heard a lot about ping being unstable for UK community and i mean unsatble , back in the day i used to have 10-20 ping no problems but for last 3-4months i and many other from UK have been having problems with ping and its not normal anymore i cant even play the game its jumped from 10-20 to 40ms and every 3rd game it goes to 230ms and dont go down for 10+ minutes nothing helps nor restarting PC nor restarting Game , have spoken to people and everyone is using different providers and havent heard anyone outside UK complaining about this , would be very lovely if this would be fixed because i cant keep playing the game especially if its competitive matches and i have 200-250ms , and no its not my internet as i have been running a lot of tests and even when it says 250ms in game i tested my internet and it was just fine and on other PC it was just fine at the same time

come back to game again
put it in borderless mode
then put it back on fullscreen and change res to 1728x1080

I don't understand players wanting "infinite" fps at all times.
There are several situations where it will require more PC resources than the previous situation:

• looking at the ground 1000fps
• looking at a city full of buildings and players 300fps
  Want to avoid drops? LIMIT the fps a little below the average fps
  max 1000fps
  average 360fps <---
  minimum 90fps
• Then try limiting to 360 ~ 320fps
  By doing this... you will always have PC resources left over to deal with a more complex scene without "dropping" or at least not as much.
  pubg is a broken game! so this logic may not apply so well

most of the times is problem to contact the server then in this case warp will help fix that (85% of the time)

Something weird is going on with my game, I got a new rig a few days ago, played a couple games some days ago, and today when I got into my first game I got banned for hacks after like 2 mins into the game, ive been playing for 4k hours and have never done anything close to hacking at all, so after some confusion I tried creating a new account and then after like 4 mins into the match got banned again...

Press shift followed by shift+backspace. Usually works after the third time.

There is no need to use exitlag. Exitlag only helps when your ping is extremely high, but then you shouldnt be playing shooters anyway.

Using a different DNS-Resolver like cloudflare is generally good, but it won't help you in pubg. The problem is not DNS related.

modifying the GameUserSettings.ini file, setting it to read only, all of that stuff just isnt working for me. It starts in the windowed 3440x1440 right up until the pre-lobby splash screen. At that point, it goes back to my fullscreen res of 5120x1440 which I would use if it werent for it being so zoomed in and cropped

why wont my game run at 3440x1440? I've tried forcing it in GameUserSettings.ini and also via steam launch options.

It launches in 3440x1440 at startup, but on getting into the main lobby screen it goes back to fullscreen. 5120x1440 is my native resolution and for some reason I also cant set a custom resolution

Solved issue: No sound from behind. For those of you with problems in Windows 11 not being able to hear sound behind your character, you don't need to downgrade to Windows 10. You just need to go into your system's Settings > Sound > All sound devices, and select your sound device (e.g., headphones). That opens the Properties view. Near the bottom, change Audio enhancements to Off. That was what fixed the issue with my sound only being audible in front and to the sides. (Even nearby explosions were inaudible if I was facing directly away from them.)

but is a constant connection so the most important is to have a good ping (latency)
