I went -500 RP by following what they're doing, and they actually played the game for like 5K hours being Bronze. Now I'm +900 RP up 1 division to Gold by not following their strats.

It´s because the mouse can overturn up to Slot 5. It is not locked to just 2 slots anymore. You need to find a workaround for yourself

Comp/muzzle brake, angle girp, heavy stock. thats what i run on the ACE and M4.
Angle grip will help with horizontal recoil and the comp/muzzle along with the heavy will do more than enough to help with verticle recoil

I went into the top 3 percentile for E sportsNA West Seattle for another game and one opf my team mates ran that style. I stomped him every day, everyway. Changing your keyboard set up isnt going to make you better. (I thought for the longest time that having a half keyboard made me so much cooler/unlocked more of my potential.) It doesn't. Its a marketing ploy to get you to buy stupid items. The bigger your space bar the better. Reaching for keys adds time, miliseconds, if you are worried about time, and responsiveness which is what I am guessing you are goign for. Don't do that. You are adding about half a second to your reach time for the key, thats half a second someone like me will snap fire you around a corner.

The ONLY thing that will improve your gameplay/responsiveness is training, and that sounds odd, but its true, we as gamers must train to be better. "Practice makes perfect."
And that couldn't be more true here! 😄

I used to fight 4v1 everyday not to be edgy or cool. But to work on my hand eye coordination.

You can do this same thing using things like aim trainers.
speed clickers. or even playing other games unrelated to build your skills in other areas like button pressing without looking, odd things like the Blasphemous game, things like mortal kombat or brawlhalla help you work on not only your speed, but your accuracy in button pressing. 🙂

my hands might not reach the space bar as well as yours, if the time isnt cut down too much and it feel snatural try it a bit longer.

One last tip, when testing new controls,, play it for 5 days, then swap back to your original mapping, if you notice you are doing better with the original or the new, choose the one that best suits you.

Just wanted to share my newfound love for PUBG! I stumbled upon this game about a month ago, and I'm completely hooked. With around 400 matches under my belt and three glorious chicken dinners (so far!), it's safe to say I'm having a blast. My kill count is sitting around 300, which I'm slowly but surely working on!
Like many of you, I've been diving into YouTube tutorials to up my game. While those strategies are great, this 67-year-old has had to develop his own approach. Let's just say my reflexes aren't what they used to be!
Now, I have a love-hate relationship with that darn blue zone. It feels like it's my most consistent opponent! But honestly, what really gets my goat are the cheaters. I have no problem getting outplayed or even just having someone get a lucky shot on me – that's part of the game. But losing to someone who's clearly not playing fair? That's just infuriating.
Anyone else out there find themselves adapting their playstyle as they get older? Or have any tips for outsmarting the blue zone (besides just staying ahead of it, haha)? And what are your thoughts on the cheater situation?

the tag wont stay tracking the player like cod or battlefield. A double click will just place a red triangle where you are looking. A single click will put a marker down with your colour.

the only 2 settings that matter is anti aliasing and texture imo - the rest is really not important imo. Most people run the game on very low settings but to me, antialiasing very low hurts my eyes and make it harder to see enemies so I use antialiasing medium and texture medium-high

you can turn on sharpen too or sharpen the game through your driver

don't forget to increase render scale too or the game looks blurry

what do you guys think is better for me to do if im trying to learn rrecoil? use m4 first since its pretty managble or learn to use beryl so i can be able to use almost any other gun easily

i’ve got 800hrs in the game and still can’t/don’t use the beryl. i use the ACE and have no issue, you get the accuracy and attachment options of an M4 but the stopping power (and aim punch now) of 7.62.

If anything i'd say learn aug.. slightly harder than m4 but nowhere near as hard as a beryl.. and it's a very good weapon atm.

m4 sadly has been so nerfed over time that nowadays whenever I decide i'll pick one up I end up losing fights that I shouldn't, just due to the lack of damage

yeah when you open the map screen there should be something that says “spawn custom kit” or something similar. you can edit the class there and pick what guns you start with.

like bianca said, aug rn would probably be best to learn. but if you wanted a better option for a 7.62 guns then i’d suggest the ace. aug just has a tad bit more recoil but nothing compared to the beryl. also, play around with the vertical sensitivity multiplier to make the recoil more manageable and practice using the angled grip since it will help with horizontal recoil which can’t be negated by mouse movement (without spasms in your hand)

both and it depends on the mode, where the circle is and what your teammates use - if all my teammates are using DMRs I am definitely going with snipers or if the circle is ending in cities, I drop and get a sniper but if I am playing miramar, mode does not matter because it does not make sense to use snipers in miramar

Hardest thing for me was to learn positioning, like, making sure that I limit angles from which I can be seen by a third party when engaging an enemy, making sure I am close to a ridge/cover to not get insta flushed if I get knocked, finding safe routes when crossing compounds or doing big rotations.

It's still a work in progress 8k hours later.
