PUBG Tips for Snipers:

• When firing a sniper rifle while aiming down sights (ADS), you can hold the left mouse button to remain in scoped / ADS view; this lets you watch your bullet and see its impact location. The bolt cycling animation will start once you release the trigger, taking you temporarily out of ADS. (If you just click-and-release the LMB to fire, the chambering animation happens immediately, which prepares the next shot more quickly but which also makes it impossible to see exactly where your shot goes.)

• The 2x, 3x, and 4x scopes have fixed zeroing at 100 meters, meaning that at that distance (with some variance depending on the weapon), a bullet should hit right about where the center dot of the reticle is in ADS view. Significantly farther targets require aiming above the desired target point to compensate for bullet drop. Significantly closer targets require aiming a bit below the target point to compensate for the scope being physically above the weapon's barrel. (In other words, at close range, the bullet will strike a bit below the aim point because you're looking down the scope, not down the barrel.)

• The 6x, 8x, and 15x scopes all have adjustable zeroing, which means that you can use the PGUP and PGDN buttons to change the zeroing distance in 100-meter increments. (The small squares on the map and mini-map are each 100 meters across; the large squares are a kilometer across - though bullets in PUBG will simply disappear a few meters shy of reaching 1000 meters.)

Casual Mode (TPP only, 3 matches per day), is about as close as you can get (max 12 humans, the rest bots), unless you get lucky playing during off-peak hours and get a match with fewer humans. They used to have an all-bots training mode (10 games lifetime max), but hardly anyone used it, and it got removed.

the way they've made ranked and unranked is not beginner-friendly

let me provide a little more context

This is specifically for battle royale only so no arcade modes
if you're trying to gain experience on the battle ground the only thing that you can do as a beginner is play 3 casual games per day. even tho i've met people sometimes that play in a very crazy way that it feels like it's not even a 99% bot match.
After that you either have to log back on next day, or waste your time against very experienced players in random maps.

you can argue that training mode will help but it doesnt give experience. you can practice aim, driving mechanics, fast looting, fast reloading etc. it will still not give you the experience you need in any way to gain the knowledge of the battle ground

You might want to buy the pass when you reach level 21, so you can get the third BP boost activated right away (30%). (Caveat: I'm speculating here, as I haven't seen the new pass yet.) Otherwise, there's not much difference between buying the pass right away or waiting.

you should have - somewhere bottom left next to the character's legs - a little arrow thing that you can open which gives you the otpion to hide or show your helmet/armous/character. maybe you have it off there and that's why you don't see it?
