Hours has been spent on trying to kill the bike, need dev intervention
SW Saltbrook safe house has been bugged since we could build it - can someone PLEASE fix the bike that is preventing the blueprint?? that SH is kinda important

Saltbrook SH has had a bicycle bugged inside of the boxes in front of it for two wars now. Last war we could fix it, because the bike was visible and we could shoot it. This war it is invisible and therefore cannot be shot, so the safehouse if unbuildable.

Vehicles slide even when stationary, you can come to a full stop on a hill and it will begin to roll down the hill or slide horizontally if it's near the side of a road.
I have had vehicles slide all the way into the river when stopped in a bad location. I've noticed it's common to have to drive at a 5 degree angle on roads in order to just stay straight at times - not realistic at all and quite a step backwards from the old system in my opinion.
Please fix this

Not sure if this was intended, but both the mounted and handheld variants of the Bonesaw are named the same thing. I think this can cause a lot of confusion when people are attempting to identify the two from each other, and it becomes even harder when there is no image to provide context, like for example, when a player stockpiles a bunker base with "Bonesaw MK. 3"s, or you receive prototype kits for "Bonesaw MK. 3"s. There is no other distinguishing information to help people identify the two from each other.
Recommended solution: Change the mounted bonesaw name from "Bonesaw Mk. 3" to "Mounted Bonesaw Mk. 3". A simple word can easily make the difference in this case

without the safehouse we cant build any ghouses in the SW area
Bug: Border bases spawn when the last town in a region is upgraded, possible due to it being momentarily not controlled
The funniest part is, not only was Cragstown encircled, but then the border base was immediately encircled as well, partially by momentarily immortal wardens because they had spawn protection from crossing the border. Overall just a bad scene where both sides were panicking. Good Benny Hill content, maybe not good Foxhole content.

It's that one where people just get disconnected frequently, no matter where, or what they are doing, I have been disconnected driving logi, in battles, and just standing in town.
Hey everyone, I figured out a possible solution to the "Lost connection to host" bug. For me, it appears it was caused by my graphics card being too slow to handle Foxhole's graphics loading, which would force a disconnect when it got overloaded. To fix it, I turned my FPS down to 30 through in game graphics settings (still a smooth, fast amount). After doing this, I immediately noticed little to no lag, and have not disconnected once since doing it yesterday. I drove around in a fast truck to test, and did three hours of Logi (my most common disconnect cause due to the vehicle speeds) with no errors aside from minimal (yet expected) lag. I hope this solution works for everyone else who has the issue.
Description: Tramola grenade tooltip description wrong/inaccurate
Current Tramola tool tip says the larger grenade has a bigger payload than a standard one (I.e. the HE explosive grenade) However this is untrue. It does less damage but still weights more than an standard HE.
This is not the new border base mechanic. This is an unrelated bug.

One moment you can fire, the next you can't. And this happens in several trenches at times. Been experiencing this bug since i started playing a year ago.

I’m literally forced to do logi in the home region.

Tracked vehicles such as tankette keep sliding toward the side of the road the road when driving. New driving physics sucks because of this.
Slanted roads in great March make you have to “crab-drive” down the road to keep yourself from sliding off it (especially in the rain) hopefully they get rid of the slanted roads cuz it’s a pain to drive in great March.
the serverrestart that just happened in endless shores reset my game language to german, with no way for me to correct it back to english before being able to reconnect. now I'll lose my position because I have to restart the game again to correct my language.
This has been a 'feature' for a at the very least a few patches.
Just had my first disconnection again today, which I attribute to the fact that I was messing with graphics settings yesterday. Still, two days without a single disconnect is good. I changed my graphics back, might update later on how it goes.
Anyone know how to fix the issue we’re the deployment map just stays shadowed in and no points are scene meaning you can’t spawn, usually this happens due to connection but I have checked and was able to play about 12 hours ago no problem now it’s not working at all

Yep, just crashed again, I'll troubleshoot some stuff, clear files, check speed, etc. I'll update if I get it working again. So, if anyone else used my method: DO NOT change your graphics afterword, it messes it up.
It hasn’t been made worse, but the only way that would happen is if it stopped firing all together.

Transferring from one stockpile into another again failed with my 72 crates 40mm going public. Only the first transfer failed, all the rest afterwards succeeded. Dunno whether it matters that they were 40mm shells, but the prior fail also was with 40mm, which went public then too. In neither case were the stockpiles full.

If you equip binoculars while fully zoomed out, it unequips them like 1/4 of a second later, this can repeat multiple times and it is very annoying.
really poor framereate with map open, when i open map i go from ~70fps on an active front to ~15fps. having map posts on vs off only affects +/- 1 fps, turning off intel gives me +20fps but i am still at half of my normal fps
with nothing happening, i go from 100fps to 30fps when opening map

Description: Anti-Tank sticky bomb hitbox issues
Preconditions: N/A
Reproduction steps: using the sticky bomb on any vehicle
From what might be a hitbox error or something else, the anti-tank sticky bomb never seems to do it's complete damage and causes many vics that have health values balanced in multiples of 450 (the damage of a sticky bomb) to need 1 more sticky or any kind of damaging shot in order to kill them. Vehicles this effects include the Javelin, Peltast, both scout tanks, Ixion tankette, Kranesca, Gallagher Outlaw, and the Bonesaw AC. As you can see this effects both factions equally, and makes things that should die in X amount of Stickies (Scout tanks and javelins especially at this point of the war) need to take something extra in order to die. I don't know if this needs just a band aid fix of a 1-2 damage increase on the stickies or something else, but its very frustrating leaving Vics at 0-1% HP that mathematically should be dead
(I say hitbox issue because it might be the sticky sticking and exploding slightly off from the hull of the vic and causing it to do splash dmg instead)
The new LT size has some issues.
Track trails are not aligned properly to correspond with the new visuals. Especially on the right side of the tank (Devitt in my case). There is also the hitbox of the LT that has an additional extra space on the right side of the LT which also betrays the expectations. Moving past narrow corridors causes this space to halt the tank in its track, especially on the right side. I believe the hitbox has not been adjusted to the new visuals, which is very misleading.
It just worked after a while, I just turned it on now it took about 3 minutes then loaded up like normal
If you cross the Border to Kill partisans, you get stuck in a Queue after only 1 minute across. BTW the border queue keeps climbing.
recently i have been experiencing weird happenings with my vehicles, they will randomly decide to teleport me like 200m away or stuff will just not be there, has only happened today so far
Description: Truck and Barge Physics Breakdown
Preconditions: N/A
Reproduction steps: Have a truck and barge
Move a truck onto a barge backwards.
Result: truck is flug across the screen in an almost jittering pattern.
Details: The location of this event was in Morgien's Crossing however, similar events occurred without fail in other regions. When attempting to load a truck onto a barge, the vehicle gets thrown all over the screen. The actual truck seems to remain around the location of the barge as you can drive forward and backwards, which will often cause the truck to stop bouncing all over the place once it is no longer driving over the ramp. This jittering also occurs when offloading the truck by driving forward. The fear that I have as a player is that the truck may teleport or bounce off the barge and into the water, losing all the contents I intended to ship. A similar effect occurs when the back end of the truck hits the pole in the back of the barge, however this jittering is contained within the barge and there is less worry of it flying outside the bounds of the barge.

This is a bug where the trucks when touching the barge get slung all over the place. This was done in Morgen's Crossing, however I experienced similar issues anywhere I landed. This made water based barge logistics very risky and potentially ruined a lot of resources.

Description: Reversing Inverts Steering direction setting is bugged
Preconditions: Being in a tank type vehicle and having "Reversing inverts steering direction" enabled
Reproduction:
While reversing (holding S) hold down A or D, the turning behavior is normal
once reverse momentum is built up, STOP holding S but CONTINUE holding A or D.
Result: the turning behavior is reversed (or in other words, the game pretends like you have the setting "Reversing maintains steering direction").
Details: The tank turns the wrong way when it has reverse momentum but the reverse button is not held, this is not intended behavior.

Vehicles in an MPF only get a 5% discount after the first crate even though it shows this... (Not sure if intended but the numbers need to be changed because it is just straight up wrong)
Drove a full freighter from Acrithia to Deadlands.
Was disconnected somehow underneath the bridge between Clothos Refuge and Stray. Got back in and attempted to recover the freighter multiple times, drowning each time as the drivers AND passenger positions were "blocked". 311 crates were destroyed and thousands of bmats and emats worth of material gone with it.
The game has a lot of connection errors lately. I can't even get to the home region at the moment.
Random connection losses literally every couple minutes
I had a bug where rifle ammo was invisible to me. Off a dead soldier, off soldiers that would drop me ammo etc. It caused any rifle with ammo on it to also be invisible and unable to be looted by me.
so what do you do now?
By assigning keybinds to a controller (xbox one controller used in this case, but i suspect other controllers will work as well) you can "delete" most keybinds from keyboard configuration list. The bind will not show up on the list, however it will still be usable in-game. Furthermore, it is also possible to assign multiple functions to a single keybind this way if it is assigned to a controller input (leading to very fun laggy moments when the game tries to process 20+ commands at once). This can be fixed by resetting your keybinds to the default settings via the "reset defaults" button. Additionally you can navigate some menus, after having them activated, with the controller with the left thumbstick or d-pad and pressing "A" (note the menu images with the dotted outline). Has actually been a thing for a while and isn't really a big thing but should be polished up before 1.0.
On a related note this is a great way to remove the terrible default key assigned to "U" and not having to worry about pressing it accidently.
The beaches on the east of partisan island can't be used to build Motor Boats. The areas don't appear to be blasted.
Everytime I hop into the game it lasts about 5mins , freezes , stays frozen for a min then my laptop restarts itself. Is anybody else having this issue or similar? I’ve reinstalled the game and it’s still happening
had something similar to that as well. Game would play normally, but then it would freeze, then immediately restart. I thought it was due to overheating, but something else might be occuring, as that didnt happen a couple days ago (play on a laptop too)

That is due to low garrison activity. In enemy territory it no one uses a world spawn point for a while it deactivates.

You can place EMG/EATs 'into' bridges. But because they're placed on the lower ground you are unable to shoot at them while the emplacement is able to shoot at you.
Chat typethrough is frustratingly common, and it seems like the chatbox behaves differently depending on whether you've clicked on it. It's also frustratingly inconsistent... I can't reproduce reliably enough to write the steps. Only that it happens more often after clicking on the chatbox for e.g. selecting whisper.
This may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you unexpectedly give up while being carried to a medic, it can have a direct impact on gameplay.

Just lost a tank due to being stuck in some rocks. 😦 !unstuck command takes too long when in combat too. Old LT cleared those rocks in the past no problem, I am honestly past the point of being mad atm.
Missing keybinds in menu: don't have interact keybind in list and is is reasigned to a Gamepad control; I don't have a gamepad.

When exiting the game through the main menu, the app appears to be closed. But when I attempt to restart it through Steam, it says app already running. I checked Task Manager and bootstrapgame as well as the main foxhole background process was still running and taking up memory despite for all appearances the game being closed (no icon on task bar, not appearing in the 'apps' portion of task manager). In the past also, the game would simply freeze up when trying to exit from the main menu and task manager would be required to close it.
Had an AT garrison agro on me on foot. I was interacting with the side of an ISG, putting in shells, and the ISG was blocking line-of-sight with the AT garrisons behind a salvage mine. When I interacted with the ISG, I got turned to jam by an AT garrison shot. The gun was fine. The spot I interacted with the gun wasn't behind the salvage mine, apparently.
I wasnt the gunner on the ISG. The gunner and the gun were perfectly fine. I was just loading ammo into the inventory of the gun

Bug: You can't fill in craters that were started by the enemy
- You can still shoot those blueprints so this is not very abusable.
- Friendly AI will try to shoot enemy crater blueprints- however an AT Pillbox seems to not be able to damage them. So it will shoot endlessly at the enemy crater blueprint (I saw that happening just now)
It makes no sense that to prevent the enemy faction from continuing/helping the effort of filling in those craters
Was having trouble returning to home island while alive, would hit it and then "connection couldn't be established" or something. Figured I'd try again later, so when i died I hit "return to home" in the spawn menu. Same thing happened, "couldn't establish connection" so I was softlocked in the death screen, with an "establishing connection" thing in the middle after I clicked close of the earlier message, and SPAWN was greyed out so I had to restart the game.
It should be listed somewhere in the details tab of taskmanager
Same thing with Saltbrook. They just rebuilt the bridge and are at our doorstep.

Another chatbox focus problem. if you're typing a message as you go to the post-death spectator screen, chat needs to be closed and reopened before it accepts input despite staying open from before the death. Infuriating.

After the last patch I had to reinstall the game, now I am getting an alt warning and my username has changed to my local hard drive's name.
Huge squad stuttering still exist.
The only way right now to fix it, is the same has before : having 2nd and empty squad visible.
The easiest way to see the problem is to join a 25-30+ clan squad.
People in it don't need to be connected for this issue to happear.

Wooden bar fence has no hitbox, can be walked through, even though wall next to it has to be climbed.
Given that it’s the war end, please for the love of Foxhole fix the steering. Make it analogous to regular vehicle driving in control scheme, it’s currently bugged at the moment, and difficult to drive tracked vehicles with.
there is a bug i had in squad chat with like 20+ people active in a map. my game fps lagged so bad. they said create a new squad and just have me in it. but come back and then click on that new squad to see it instead of the 20players and boom the lag was gone and game worked great. realy odd that squad chat adds lag to the fps
i thing would be nice if tracked vehicles have gear with two stance: R and D. Stance appears where appears other matter things like bleeding. W and S should change gear and A and D do performs steering in depends of what is gear is engaged. Gear still stable until W or S not stroked.
Bug: Vehicles sliding down slopes
Reproduction steps: be in the driver's seat of a vehicle on a sloped surface.
Expected result: A stationary vehicle with no inputs will not accelerate
Actual result: manned vehicles accelerate downhill from stationary positions. This is more pronounced when the wheels are pointing downhill, but vehicles will also slide sideways
Reproduction rate: 100% tested in multiple locations with different vehicles

Please give me the option to keep this game in English, it changed to localized language every time I restart despite me changing it back to English. When a server restarts it switches to localized on its own and I have to log out to change it.
My Steam is set to English, its most likely based on keyboard layout? Really annoying and I would rate this as a bug and not intended.
When there is a way to change this via config file to default English please share, would appreciate it!
Currently when any vehicle drives over trench ramps or bunker segments, they experience a slowdown effect that's even stronger than if they were driving on terrain. Is this an unintended side-effect to the new driving physics and mitigating tanks charging across standard trenches? Or intended to reduce the amount of vehicles that try to drive onto/over bunker pieces/ramps?
New physics broke driving downhill for some heavy armor, when I drove downhill on a steep incline and steered left with a Bardiche/Ranseur the game made me go right instead. Attached an example of a route where it happened to me multiple times, green my intended direction, red where I went instead. Almost made me fall into the river the first time.
I was also experiencing a similar problem when driving backwards and then forwards quickly with a Kranesca, where the game suddenly turns your steering direction for no reason.

Inverted steering on tracked vehicles is NOT analagous to wheeled vehicles. The behavior on tracked vehicles with this setting currently reverses the direction of the coast, whereas the other control option -though correct in its own regard- does not. Please fix the local/squad voice chat. Ever since this new update we had plenty of issues with the in-game voice chat, players not being able to hear anyone on squad, but heard local and the other way round, or anyone talking in local chat getting very muffled and near impossible to understand. Sometimes voice reconnection helped, but it's very annoying and happens to all of us too frequently to simply ignore it.
In last 2 patches vehicles lags like that very often ( I believe that something related to new physics)

Watercraft are unaffected by change in steering settings. It’s current default is the inverted setting.

This is definitely a map issue, but one can climb onto the wall and then from there you can access the ladder

not sure if it's a bug, I wanted to change factions after the last war, but it didn't gave me the option in the first place (edit: I am waiting for a answer, I have just entered the training island, I want to change to warden from col)
It allows you to choose faction at start of each new war (resistance phase not included)
Meaning when new war starts in 15.5 hrs from this message, you can pick then to go Collie

It gives you the option when the NEW WAR starts. Its currently resistance phase, which is the period between two wars.

Not sure what this is, but this has only happened in war 93 at start. Only thing that prompts it is loading into the Great March Hex. Training Island is fine. Loading into other hexes is fine as well.
Can a regiment lose all its memebrs outside of officers? Is there a command to kick everyone out except Officers?

Getting stuck (glitching from outside to inside) inside bunker blueprint after blueprint dies.
Has happened 3 times when upgrading a normal square and standing too close.
Description: Being able to switch teams after committing to one team.
For proof you can see that I have the option to switch teams on the day 22 screenshot, while having 4 hours of playtime on the day 20 screenshot.
Preconditions: Having terrible internet (<1 MB/s), using Google's DNS servers.
Reproduction Steps:
- Get the "fail to connect to shard error",
- Switch to another shard,
- Switch back to the original shard (in my case, shard-1),
- Connect.
I don't see the bug here? You're allowed to switch teams after committing as long as you have less than 6 minutes of playtime in the current war

see the problem is on day 20 (2 HOURS before the screenshot with the change team button), I have 4 HOURS of playtime which is over 6 minutes. The fact that I am able to play for 4 hours and have the game time reset to 0 allowing me to join the collies is the bug.

You're using a 3 shot kill weapon, they're using a 1 shot kill weapon. Solution: Get a more powerful weapon. Both sides have a Heavy Rifle
if you try to join collies itll send you to warden and i presume vice versa depending on your side, tested it a few wars back.

If you shot 3 entire mags then they were probably outside of your weapon's effective range. Watch the white aiming line, when it fades away, your weapon won't do as much if any damage.

just reset voice coms in the settings it takes 5 seconds doesn't restart the game or kick you from the region. not 100% chance of working but usually does
I’ve had this happen before but as a colonial dude you were too far away I’ve done this before I shot him a few times and he didn’t die because it was barely in the range of doing anything at all. You were probably too far away. It still creates a blood splatter but that doesn’t mean what you did really hurt.

If somebody blocks the seaport pad (i.e. with container) while you try to pull vehicle, you may get bugged and stuck in constant pulling animation, this blocks you from using E,Q and other buttons that are blocked when you pull something, but you can still move (slide) around while doing weird hand moves

I literally saw mg pillbox fire coming out of thin air. It was killing people. That screenshot is with radio.
in rare cases your LoS will be blocked but pillboxes can still shoot you

I too want to attest to the stuttering. If it be for networking, nothing on my end has changed. I’ve noticed this, myself, since the start of the war.
Usually it looks like teleporting around in vehicles, grabbing things from inventories not registering (thing is “grabbed”, inventory closes, but remains in the inventory), plus hammering/scrapping stopping for a moment then resuming. Are the queue prioritization rules scrambled right now? I'm waiting to go into Speaking Woods from Reaching Trail.... I have 40 crates of 120, im behind the small trucks and even some solo soldiers. Even Truck swapping not really having perfect prioritization. The person I truck swapped with waited 20 minutes, and eventually got a different additional person to Truck swap with him!

Something is seriously wrong with building. I built defense for a pretty new bunker base yesterday. I log on today and all my defensive pieces are destroyed from decay and despawned husks. No attacks were reported, they were just tier 1 bunker pieces waiting to be upgraded to garrisons. What the heck? How is it overnight these pieces randomly die and despawn? They were all connected to my base around a relic which has GSUPS and BSUPS in it!
If the base it was connected to didn't achieve small Garrison Gsups wouldn't do anything. t1 pieces would start to decay like 6 or 12 hours after construction. T1 gets destroyed quickly after it begins to decay. Always upgrade to t2 in your situation as T2 has a 24 hour grace period and takes much longer to be destroyed even when it starts to decay. It may take a while for small Garrison to be avhieved

Spawning a vehicle crate after just spawning one and leaving it on the seaport will completely bug out your game, you'll be unable to do anything for some reason

Fires cannot be build on Seaport decks, despite this functionality supposedly having been added in Update 43.
15 minute return timer failed for me too, but I went back to home region before trying to deploy again in the same region. It showed the message of the timer still being 14 minutes left, but it put me into queue anyway.
If it had said "made space for logi bringing X shirts" then it would be fine, but this sounds like a bug right now. Although might have been something about using border bases, and having tried to spawn at another border base after going back to home region.

New terrain mechanic making vehicle slide when idle. It feels so uncomfortable and dangerous when positioning vehicle. Sometimes it just put you in dangerous spot because of it.

I know that Siege Camp studio no longer works on Fortified, but many players would really appreciate if you could delete the 2 broken achievements. Both Cloud Nine (api name: ACH_30) and Negative Perspiration (api name: ACH_23) never worked and are preventing many players from 100%'ing the game. Deleting those two is really quick and just requires access to the steam backend (so no update to the game whatsoever). Here's a quick guide:

I was talking about this issue with @lethal sequoia on twitter, he brought up that it's not as easy as i make it sound, as it may break the game. I can assure you that it's not the case, simply because the achievements currently don't work, this can mean 2 things:
- either wrong api names are put in the code and the game is triggering achievements that don't exist
- code responsible for unlocking the achievements is never triggered
In either of those scenarios deleting the two achievements doesn't change how the game behaves and since it's not crashing now, it won't crash after the change. So no update to the game is required in order to fix the issue.
Would really appreciate if any of the devs could follow up on that. It's literally a 2 minute job and would make thousands of players happy. Since it's in my opinion a matter of Critical Assistance, i'm pinging @nimble ingot as well. Thanks in advance!

120mm howitzer operator seat displays an ammo counter. This doesn't match up with the gunner's ammo counter and doesn't seem to do anything.
Game has huge instabilities with queues the whole war, people disconnect when traveling to other regions and go up in a queue for seemingly no reason(lost tanks this way, and not only us)
Ash fields hex just doesn't let you spawn in sometimes and makes you go in a main menu and sometimes has a problem of going into the shards home region and when you try too many times it gives you a block
AMAZING wardens take jade cove. and now t1 ai. town hall fires on colonails. but t2 didn't fire on wardens when wardens did a landing on the town. i feel this is a bad bug that should be fixed for 1.0.

Hit Spawn > Return to Home Region. Game said Server Connection lost with the little pop up. Now my game is stuck here on this screen where Spawn button is greyed out, Travel in Progress stuck on my screen and my spawn timer at 0:00. Can't do anything, going to have to alt f4 the game
i believe that there is a minimum amount of stuff that needs to be put in for it to do the prompt
Vehicles can run you over from 5 METERS AWAY
But i see a lot of trucks at longstone putting stuff into the town hall, surely not all of them are below the minimum amount to not activate the prompt
if you put it in, in my experience there is also like a short 5 minute timer or something where you wont get the prompt.

Possible desync or graphical error resulting in player invulnerability. At first I thought it was the tanker bug, but then the player ran away, lifted the ramp and sailed off. Completely invulnerable to rifle fire and we were unable to get on the barge.
If I would hazard a guess it’s probably a visual bug where the ramp was up even though it looked like it was down (hence you running through it), desync and all.
Ramps are by default down when a barge is loaded in- for whatever reason it didn’t fix its own state on your screen (and seemingly for those around you)
Tier 3 wall repair cost seems to be abnormally high. Here it took 40 basic materials to repair 5%, which would put the total repair cost for a segment in the range of several hundred bmats, far above any other structure.

Packaging a vehicle and then unpackaging it will remove the vehicle from the intel map. It will only show up on radar again if you refresh it by entering the driver's seat.

This happened yesterday in Blemish, the house shoots at the blueprints with the wall of blemish in between.
A bug exist sometimes: You need to pull out your weapon 2 times before really getting it in your hands. The 1st time you got the animation of pulling out a weapon, but you still got nothing in your hands. It's not happening everytime, but when it happen it's really annoying. (Need to restart the game to fix the bug)

"weapon attachment" instead of a regular weapon)

Make sure you're in the right chat tab. You could be typing to "all" but you won't see it if you're in the "region" tab.

there's an exploit, where sicne howie garrisons retaliate against a player, you can bayonette a friendly while wearing an officer uniform to stop the retaliation after an initial artillery shot to prevent the full effect of the howies.
When the howie is retaling against an emplaced arty, please make it so it keeps firing on the gun even if the gun gets decrewed

Yeah I've searched for a few hours, only found one so far. Someone who had managed to build an AFT said it took them 5 hours - I can only imagine how long it'll take to get the Phalanx which is 5 times as expensive. What's the point of an annual event if the vast majority of players won't be able to access its content?

I think Acrithia needs a server restart, alot of people are having issues with chat. Im currently bugged where any message in local, squad or regional cannot be seeing by others in the region. only way to communicate is DM or world chat. Been affecting me for over 24 hours now.
