a solider is fatally wounded and a medic rushes to get into the trench
as the medic heals the solider, the Boom of the storm cannon is heard
*camera pans to spotter with binos

*camera moves quickly to the storm cannon far in the back, passing by logi trucks and tanks rolling to the frontline
we see two soldiers loading the massive storm cannon, a third soldier salutes an officer with a backpack and gets on the cannon.

An Umbralish Short Story:
Umbral Wildwood in the land of Veli, was a very peaceful land full of trees, farms, and open fields. The farmers and villagers could complete work each day and get up the next morning knowing that life is fair and kind with nothing to worry about except watering the crops and harvesting the food.
The people there enjoyed visiting each other and helping others out in need. The people called “Umbralish,” who lived in Umbral had very little arguments or disagreement over supplies or land, but in other regions, the people called Colonials, were not the same. The Colonials were pioneers of war always searching for an enemy that could match their skills, and even killing much of the wildlife to see if they could match their skill. Unfortunately, most wildlife was massacred, to this day you can only hear the birds and other animals, but the sound is only a memory though.
Soon, the People of Umbral feared that the Colonials would drive them out of their land or bring the chaos of their nature to them.
Therefore, the Umbralish created a government which banded together the people. Shortly after, the government formed military. Or the small population in Umbral, the council could form a battalion. In the battalion, there was three companies. These Companies all had unique names and commanders. They were based off many different factors and had all different duties but with the common goal to defend Umbral from outsiders at all cost.
1st Company: The Hermit’s Guards Commander: Maj. Michael
2nd Company: Stray’s Naval Force Commander: Lt(N). Blade
3rd Company: Umbral’s Heavy Artillery Commander: Capt. Pax```
Umbral’s newly formed Government called, “The Council of Umbralish in Umbral.” The council was formed to maintain independent status from other people in other regions or areas, to designate the Umbralish support, and to prepare for war. The council was made up of nine members all from specific clans. Clans are groups of people that all the same interest. The clans represented of the first nine were: Umbralish Logistics and Transportation, The Umbral Wildwood Regiment, and The People’s Support League. Each Clan had three people to sit on the board with equal share in power, but the Councilors would vote for one person to be a Chairman of the Council.
Once formed, they were quick to send out a decree that read, “Anyone that is loyal to Umbral, her land, and the Council, shall hear to the following rules:- No Umbralish may leave under any circumstances, unless deemed by the Council who is most loyal Umbral
- All goods and resources that are valued by the Council must be sent to Hermits Rest for redistribution and security
- All men must enlist in the nearest Military Company for service
a. Unless in service of the Foundry Logistics and Delivery Company
b. Or is over the age of 45 years and under the age of 16 years - All the Economy and Factories are under control of the Council including the Companies that run out of them
a. Umbralish Logistics and Transportation
i. Foundry Logistics and Delivery Company
ii. Foundry Factory Co.
iii. Hermits Rest Stockpile Transporters
If anyone breaks the following rules, they will be sent to work at the Thunderfoot Prison that is ran by GoldenRoot Ranch Prison Commission, there they will serve till the end of the war.”
On paper, for the council, all was looking fine in the first month of the decree being sent out. Supplies were being transported to Hermits Rest for redistribution, men were enlisting into service, and new Logistics Companies formed by the Council were helping the preparation immensely. However, they eventually experienced a few barriers. Soldiers and Sailors had no military experience or training and the artillery had few field artillery available. Another issue the Council found with the decree was that no one really knew the borders of Umbral so some argued if they were a part of it or not, and where they cannot go.
When the Colonials in the other regions caught word of the changes in Umbral, they started to get angry.
The Colonials wanted the land for themselves to have because they saw that the lumber and land was good quality. Soon enough Colonials in Great March, the Heartlands, and Shackled Chasm were preparing for war but they were unaware that the Umbralish were prepared for a war and were ready for it. When the Colonials were ready to meet the Umbralish on the battle and they were less than 100 yards away from each other, the Umbralish got word from the Council of a new discovery. Quickly, one of the commanders in trenches raised a white flag for a truce and went to meet the Colonials. He walked straight towards the Colonials and passed on the news. The news of another people near the Colonials scared them a bit because they were thought that the Umbralish allied with them.
The new people they encountered were called the Wardens. The Wardens were a people that liked to establish their own empire and they like to discovered regions in the world. Upon their discovery of the Umbralish, the wardens reached out to introduce themselves.
Years went by and much had changed. Umbral became divided by the Wardens and they built a wall called the Bulwark. After that, the Council of Umbralish in Umbral ended, many Umbralish moved out of Umbral to go more to the developing cities and recognized themselves as Colonials. The Companies stayed but were incorporated into the Colonial Legion and received proper training for those that stayed. For the Umbralish, most of the changes were good because the colonials became less warlike. However, because of the wall, tension was rising between the Colonials and Wardens.
The Great Wars began with the fight right on Colonial Umbral doorstep.
With the beginning of the war, a new leadership was put in Umbral (under the Colonial High Command or Colonial Sigil). This was the first time the three Companies saw battle. Roughly 750 men had enlisted into the Battalion of Umbralish and were immediately sent to fight. The Lieutenant Colonel and his Officers made desperate moves in Umbral to keep it from falling. This put their Battalion into an offensive position against the Wardens. The Battalion of Umbralish’s first few campaigns to push the Wardens back from umbral were successful but when they got over ambitious, things began to unravel.
On their fourth campaign, they held land all the way up to Weathered Expanse. This is where they made their fatal mistake in that they divided the Battalion and sent one Company to push Marban Hallow and the other Companies to push Viper Pit. They did not call for reinforcements and this division ended up dividing the officers too. Both divided groups were unsuccessful, and the Wardens ended up forcing them to retreat all the way to Drowned Valve and Allod’s Bight. Once there they had to hold out and fight for the rest of the war. They had no manpower to push but only to hold. The Wardens eventually lost the war and peace was made but with heavy losses on both sides.

After the war, the Colonial High Command was happy with the Battalion of Umbralish despite the losses and losing the Fourth Campaign.The Colonial High Command were unsure what to do with the three Companies that had each lost quite a few men. However, they each stayed and regained back their numbers. To this day, they kept their traditions and with the goal of defending Umbral from outsiders at all cost.
(All this is not real lore but more like Fan Fiction.)

When Wisps Warning fell, we fled to Loggershead to fortify the Northwest. We were able to make a CV, gather a decently sized group of people--a growing squad of dedicated men--and build an encampment and defenses on the crossroads to secure logi to Loggershead.
Collies had their own encampment a little bit further across the road. But the fighting was constant. Building was a pain and a risk--one foxhole I built was continuously hammered by grenades, kept up only by near suicidal builders.
In the beginning of our checkpoint's existence, trucks were able to pass into the town. But when the collie war machine began to press into our position, trucks would be shot to pieces only seconds away north of the encampment. It was a constant struggle by both sides to capture the crates and supplies left behind, and we know without a doubt there must have been more trucks further up the road that were unable to make it. A constant rush of bayonets and bullets with crates factored in turned the road into utter chaos.
Our position was failing--from the beginning, we were outnumbered and outsupplied, but were able to hold impressively. But when the trucks stopped, so did any hope that Loggershead would ever be relieved--something each of us refused to believe. We made prayers to Callahan as the encampment was being evacuated. It had plenty of equipment, but no shirts. It would go down with hundreds of clips of ammo and guns, and I could feel the bmats cry out in pain as the unrelenting smg fire poked holes in the encampment and foxholes.
It was a fighting retreat into the city, and we were able to hold for another day. Supplies were dwindling at an alarming rate from all the refugees of the northwest base. Despite the bravery of Callahan's finest, grenades tore apart those not garrisoned in the houses.
Then, the rifles began to run out. Loggershead was living on borrowed time. For every warden we had, there were five more colonials ready to rush in with an SMG and grenades. They were able to rush into the house closest to the edge, with over a dozen occupying and gunning down the house from the inside. All we were able to do was to harass, but most of us retreated into a church just another house down.
I was shot infront of the garrison house occupied by the collies, just behind a wall. I was able to take down one with my pistol, but they caught me with my pants down--and I fell. Telling the rest of the squad, they lamented on the hopelessness of the situation. One man, Gom used the only trauma kit we had, with the only blood plasma we had in the entire region. At any moment he could have been riddled with holes, but he chose to save me--even as shirts had run out.
Loggershead would fall upon attacks on all sides. I don't know how the safehouse was doing, but it was clear that the northwest side was where the collies truly pushed. There was little in the way of them flanking south, and so another party directly attacked the townhall. The church would be occupied by wardens defending with whatever they could scavenge, with a collie running every minute or so with a bayonet or an SMG.
The squad dwindled with each house and building the collies took. Resistance had dwindled down to three others, but with only pistols, it was less of David fighting Goliath and more trying to stop a wave with a pebble.

That small detail could have been excluded and nobody would have noficed it. In fact, that shows that you worked really well with POIs on the canvas. Anyways, a bit on the tanks. The Pike-40 was a development of the Lance-36 utilizing a 120mm L/70 semi-autoloaded gun in a low profile turret. The Pike-40 was well armored for when it came out, able to resist everything from the front. However, like most tanks, the sides and rear were a weakpoint. The gun, which was quite a glass cannon thanks to the large APDS rounds it could chuck, utilized a system where a loader manually loads a shell onto an elevator which would go up and push the round in, however, only one shot at a time could be loaded. Upon the Colonials showing off this tank for the first time, the Wardens made the decision to drop the heavy tank concept entirely, fearing the firepower of the 120mm L/70. The Wardens' response was the Halkett Mk. IV. Despite being labeled an MBT, the the Halkett was more useful as an ambush light tank. The 75mm L/63 gun was an autocannon with a crude APFSDS as its ace up its sleeve. The concept was to have a nimble tank which could chuck 5 rounds at a Pike-40's side in 3 seconds and then get out of dodge or to chuck 5 APFSDSs at the front in an attempt at armor degradation.

Halkett’s gun is a more primitive XM-274, and the Halkett would likely run circles around the H-90.
Not to mention, I initially intended for the Pike-40’s gun to be a CLGG but considering tech levels, I decided against it. A 75mm autocannon was doable, but not a CLGG, with the tech level I was shooting for

Outwich Ranch, The Linn of Mercy
Early in the morning, I drove a light tank from The Moors to Outwich Ranch for defending from Colonial attack it took long time to Outwich Ranch, I stopped the tank at Town Hall and mwsoldier(Maj) asked me "do you need crew for that thing Mummy?" i say "yeah you can be commander" and guy name Drifter(Cpl) say "do you want more crew? i can be you gunner" i say "sure" , so we take basic kits for tankcrew and heading to front with 4-6 infantry to push Colonial out of Outwich Ranch i think it will not take long time to push them out but we meet up with Colonial light tank at front line, mwsoldier tell me to get near them so we can shoot them in range i drive to get near single tree i push up a little bit we shot them 1 time and we push back they shoot back at us but it hit tree that was lucky for us and it getting dark, we heading back to Town Hall to switch type of shell to AP shells there is 30+ AP shells in Town Hall , we gonna go back to front but it too dark we wait on the middle of the road near town time pass till morning but mwsoldier spot Colonial Battle Tank coming in so we get back in town use garrison to be our shield look like BT didn't care about us too much they focus on garrison house and gunnest we peek out and shot them when they reload main gun, we do that somany time they go back to repair and get back to shoot and finally Colonial Light Tank push up alone to kill our garrison house west of us mwsoldier tell me to peek and shot like the same and it work,
colonial light tank get shot by AT rifle 2 time and we peek out shoot them at the side they disable and we finish them in next shot because AT rifle keep shooting them that was lucky again they didn't pull back in time, time pass and it's Day 283 colonial APC coming in try to kill garrison house that LT try to kill we do the samething we shot at them just 1 shot they disable so we finish them off, and finally colonial battle tank push up to garrison that we use to be shield but we can't do the samething anymore we running out of fuel we go to back of the town and wait till Rarr! (guy who help use find petrol) come, finally we got fuel and we running again colonial battle tank get hit by our RPG somany time we peek out when they terret face away of us and shot them they disable because they get shot by RPG and AT rifle somany time they try to repair it and we try to kill it but the last shot didn't make it we out of AP shell they make it they pull BT back and we lost Town Hall by satchel rush we going back to Safehouse and try to defending that area but they got more BT and LT it seem like we are only tank who operationing in this regoin, time pass they got safehouse by FA we pull back again to Outpost near Relic Storage try to build defend up and hold that position but we didn't make it they keep coming and coming we lost outpost in 20 mins after we pull back from safehouse, we going to Lathair try to hold that position and again we lost relic base by Fa we cross the bridge and blow up the bridge to stop them mwsoldier get out of the tank and build howtizer he say goodbye to me and leave the game and Drifter leave game while we defend the safehouse, i take this light tank back to Moors and save it in storage.
