@ornate cape actually it has the same suspension of the Devitt, and it has rounded armore on the front, sides, turret edges and the back of the turret curves around. I wanted a ww2 medium tank for the wardens with logical features instead of the devitt

Shoutout to the lone Collie partisan north of Jade Cove earlier this afternoon (You had posted up at a bridge just south of Bone Haft)
This motherfucker got me with the bridge up. I put it back down, and started to drive across, feeling a bit leery about the whole situation. Then they opened up! Sounded like a SMG, and it was more than enough to render my truck unusable, and then destroyed. Of all the trucks! Mine was full of crates for Jade Cove, grenades, gasmasks, howitzer shells, ammo, the works.
I bailed in time and hid in some bushes, hoping to pop them with my pistol, but, I never saw them. Somehow they made off with my 3 crates of howitzer shells, the one thing I didn't want to lose.
Then a big shoutout to a WN guy who heard my pleas on all chat and came to my rescue, baiting the partisan with an empty truck of his own and shooting him with his pistol. Apparently the partisan had dumped my shells off in some bushes somewhere and we didn't find them for a minute, but, the WN guy came in clutch again and found them for me. Had a friend come by with a truck and we got the crates to Jade Cove without any further issues.
We used the fuck out of those shells too ;)

Let me tell you about being a bus driver for people. It’s an amazing feeling to have people commend you for your efforts and your useful because it cuts the time of soldiers marching to the front by just ferrying them in your bus. They commend me and we usually have some good small talk. Sometimes it can be difficult when the front is always under howitzer fire and you have to doge shells but other than that it is a low risk high reward role to be. I’ve made many friends doing this and now when I run into them they’ll be like: “so you doing bus runs today?”

had a massive freighter waiting for me
(That i built)
This happened in the Oarbreaker Isles
So anyways I was salvaging stuff at Sandalwood Beach
salvaged about 5000 salvage, put it into a shipping container
I got said shipping container to the shipyard north of Skelter Course
things went smoothly, no Collies on the way
I sailed south, beneath the bridge that connects the Ides and Skelter Course. (I waited there for several minutes before somebody was nice enough to help open the bridge.)
By the time I got to Posterus (the place where somebody had requested supplies) I had to wait for several more minutes.
I was hoping that there was a refinery at Posterus (I wasn't as used to the war map then)
When somebody finally saw my freighter sitting waiting for a crane he informed me that there was no refinery on Posterus and that I had to go back.
When I got back and was driving a crane to the refinery to unload the salvage, I found the salvage was stolen.
(eventually the freighter was also stolen lol)

so anyways, we were building a Howitzer, just south-southeast of the relic base at Crumbling Passage (which was held by us then.) After doing some good spotting work I asked to do the honors, as in fire the Howie. The current operator, a squadmate by the name of Kong, said (and I quote) 'ah, fuck it' and let me onto the gun. I recall successfully destroying two Howies, a watchtower, and several puke green goons. Funny thing was, when we'd destroyed the second enemy Howie, according to Kong there was a Collie truck fulla Howie shells that had just arrived. The truck driver musta been pissed. That does put a weary, tired smile on my face despite the war. When we ran outta shells, I ran back to the relic base to grab more. Unfortunately there were none. A teammate named Keebs, who served as spotter when Kong left, yelled to me that they got the Howie as I was running back. Real shame, losing that Howitzer. She and I had a grand time together.

Idea: Self propelled artillery gun
basically give it the stats of a Field Artillery gun, make it as long and wide as a crane or CV
then add a passenger seat and give it a deploy/undeploy function similar to the crane or CV
when deployed the Howitzer on top can move freely
ofc it'll take like 5 seconds to deploy or undeploy
and it could have a slot for fuel and a second for Howie shells
it would cost 150 BMATs like a normal stationary Howie
and it would have same min/max range as a Howie, as well as the firepower
it would have the health of a Field Arty tho
and would definitely be as slow as a crane or CV or field arty
