atm, barracks don't do much other than provide a quick spawn. And since the stockpiles in townhalls and outposts, there's no need anymore to stock barracks either

@jade island I used Artweaver and a drawing pad for all the drawings. The first one, I drew over a real life picture and added/removed thing I wanted/didn't want. For the second and third, I used screenshots of the game I found via google images (there aren't much pictures online, but I didn't knew how to take screenshots without interface in game). Then, I used parts of the screenshots as well as drawing with the drawing-pads to modify the pictures to resemble my earlier drawings.

Yeah, that solution is highly improbable, as it becomes a nightmare to coordinate if everyone were neutral. The thing is, people treat the game more like a virtual war. People often don't switch sides during a real war and that's what causes people to be uneasy about neutrality. The way the game is set up makes it very very hard for people that aren't UN to like being neutral.

If Wardens vs Colonials was just an issue of colours, like TF2 or Halo

It wouldn't be a real problem. However, there's now a lore difference, there's a story

There's not just an arbitrary feeling of joining one or the other, and as this story continues to be built up, there's only going to be more lore on either side. There'll be reasons people can articulate about why they like one side or the other, and now both factions have a very distinct style and design, which we can see by the new models and the new tanks coming out. I suspect that this gap will continue to grow as time goes on.

I hate it when games will create a story behind the two or more factions at war, and distinct design elements, and then just disallow you to choose a side

It's the worst feeling in the world for me, and I hate not being allowed to play for my preferred team. Some others might not feel this way, but I do. I like to feel devoted to a particular faction or cause in games, as someone who rather enjoys reading lore, roleplaying, and general immersion. A lot of people don't care about these things really, but again, do.

I apologize for continuing this after seeing that this is in the wrong place, so I'll stop now before I continue
