The Scroop Train.
Some players came to a backline hex, carrying nothing more than their starting equipment and scroop in their logi truck. Upon their arrival to the main refinery town, none of the people with facilities were willing to share any of their material stores with the players, they barely had enough materials to keep their own facilities running.
The players went to one of the larger facilities with a large vehicle pad and began to wait, putting their Salvage in. One of the logi players became curious and asked what they are doing. The players answer that they are making a train engine, which is great and which they would be delighted to share with the logi player, although it still needs 60 Assembly I materials, which they are missing, to complete the train.
The player, who had a small facility next to a coal field and therefore could easily make coke, does not mind parting with it as long as they give him the salvage to make the Assembly I's, so these are added to the assembly.
Another logi player drives by, inquiring about the active assembly, and the players again mention their train which only requires the 50 PCM's to complete, as the other resources are already gathered elsewhere aside from the assembly I's.
The player, who had just finished looting PCM's from a decayed clanman base, agreed to give them to the players, as he had no real use for them anyway.
The next logi player, having just come from a petrol refinery that had a splitoff for heavy fuel, offers to go back and get some to make assembly IV's out of the PCM's the previous player had given them.
More logi drive by, each adding another ingredient, until the players had enough resources for the train, which they then shared with the facility owners.
Although the players have tricked the facility owners into sharing their materials with them, they have successfully gathered enough to create a train, which they share with the donors.
You can always achieve more together than you ever could alone.
