requiring the use of an auto-clicker to build or gather resources means, to me, there is a problem with the system. And when that system is, in my opinion, the foundation of the gameplay loop, that is probably not a good thing.

I had to remove any source that had the word gay in it because the database I'm using is pulling from a few other databases. One of which being one specifically for LGBT information, so that singular database overtook nearly everything that came up and it was all just worthless for what I was researching

Most captchas are bypassable, bots advance in complexity and so does captcha. There is a reason you dont see the letter captchas that often anymore. I think the most modern version right now looks at mouse movement and speed to verify youre a human

recapatcha has a heuristic that tracks users based on a performance score that it calculates as you use a website and interact with it in advance of being asked to click the checkmark. Older versions were doing the job of fixing Ai text scanning mistakes in books that were being stored by google and then googles ai driving/recording of streets (Asking you if theres trees in pictures for example). When you get the checkmark and no followup prompts you are deemed a "Low risk user" and the system doesnt think you are a bot. Modern CAPTCHA should in theory not even show you that checkbox anymore but older versions float about everywhere partly im guessing because google is probably demanding money for the newer versions.

they'll have to make trains REALLY worth it, like one train trip would take 10min and deliever 200x times more than a truck, as opposed to one truck load worth of goods taking 25min

The way I foresee it is, it would be slow to build up, but worth it over time, strengthening the logistics in the back line and that trickling down to more front line logistic areas. I have no clue how it'd actually be implemented though lol

a naval update is confirmed by the devs for post 1.0 content, they've been pretty unhappy with the state of pretty much anything water for the past couple years. it's why there was a sorta general de-island-ing and connecting of everything with bridges so land stuff can be more focused on
