I've been playing MW5 with MercTech when I do play and I love ACs with that mod because they're made to be lore friendly. Imagine a 2A42 and that's how an AC2 fires

oh yeah that's one thing. without DHS, tanks are literally better than mechs when it comes to weaponry.
ballistics and missiles cause no heat. and tanks get heat sink weight to become heat neutral for energy weapons.
