Players don't flee away from an artillery barrage because there's no drawback of dying in this game

I wouldn't dismiss the psychological effect of artillery in foxhole so quickly - the main significance of artillery psychologically in Foxhole is to make any offensive or defensive operation appear hopeless or nigh impossible due to the presence of artillery
thus, players redeploy to a more promising front, therefore having a significant effect on the frontline

Our operation ground to a holt and than people started leaving the game, some tried to redeploy. One player even said 'I went to Linn of Mercy but there are just bridge fights', when I asked him why not come back since this isn't a bridge fight. He simply said "I'd rather stay in Linn". Which shows his state of mind regarding the situation.

So anybody have any update on how outlined ranch is doing. Yesterday day as logi I'd an effort to supply a colonial assault. Had to leave about 30 mins into the fighting but I will it was amazing seeing what my efforts as a logi did. Supplied the front with a full truckload worth of weapons grenades, shovels, and med supplies and watched as they built a temporary camp, trenches, etc.

Not to mention that any weapon that carries the RPG name has the payload in the front, which in Foxhole is the Cutler and the Ignifist of which only the Cutler is actually rocket propelled. That means that the only at weapon that has any right to bear the name RPG is the cutler. Fucking devs.

That's because the animations in Foxhole are terrible and most of them are reused where they shouldn't.
The Pitch Gun uses the same animations as the warden SMG, but the magazine receiver is in a slightly different place.
So not only do you hold the pitch gun wrong, you're not actually sticking the magazine into the receiver
