Warnings are permanent in the sense you can manually delete them but there is no automated system.

There also is no verbal warnings, if you have an auto punish set up, it will count for it until you remove it.

You can set up a custom command that verbally warns a user, and can send it to the logs.

Wildcard means that Dyno will respond if the keyword or phrase appears anywhere in the message. So for example if the trigger was cat dyno would respond to "I like cats".
This applies to various modules including autoresponder and automod.
Note: This would also mean Dyno would respond to category, so be careful when adding certain phrases.

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

I understand that managing a bot is quite some work. However u also need to understand me when we pay 6€ monthly for a bot that doesn't really work properly.
In this case we just feel a little ripped off, as we basically are paying for something that has as many outages as the free version. 😅

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

so one of my autoroles in my server is being really weird. sometimes, it will add the autorole fine with no problems. but then after a while, it will add the autorole then remove it right after. it’s been a constant cycle of that every few hours the past week or so. i don’t think it’s a permissions problem or anything because my other autoroles do not have this problem. any idea how to fix this??

I'm a moderator in a server I'm in, and we use Dyno for moderation. Recently, someone triggered the Dyno automod on accident and so we've been trying to unban them, but it keeps saying it cannot unban that user. We've tried banning, unbanning, doing a ban for 1 minute and letting that go, but it still says they're banned from the server on the invites we give them.
We assume it's a Dyno issue, and now I'm asking if there's any way to fix that or will I need to contact the server owner to check the actual server bans?

We use Discord to ban users, so if the user can not rejoin after being unbanned then they more then likely have an alt banned within the server. This is due to the fact that discord bans are IP based.

We are unable to assist with this as it falls onto Discord's systems and not Dyno's.

It is recommended that Dyno has the Administrator permission.
Removing Administrator means that not only will you need to ensure the "Dyno" role has proper permissions, you will also have to ensure that Dyno has the correct permissions for every channel he has access in to ensure commands work correctly.
If you still choose to ignore that and remove Administrator, ensure Dyno always has these permissions:

Hi there, it depends on where those arguments are in your command. If “name” is supposed to be the person who ran the command, you can utilize {user}. For all of the other ones, if you’re simply listening to them out after your command (e.g., ?commandname description command), you can use where they’re placed. $1 would work for description, $2 for command, etc. You can see below for more information.

Again, what are you trying to manage, certain things are set so only the premium account holder can edit. Dyno should not be responding via both bots and its recommended you keep the basic one there. It sounds like something got mixed around with the setup. Which is something the premium holder will have to fix.

With custom commands are we able to create a different response for Dyno when it meets a certain amount of arguments? I want to make a command that responds differently depending on the argument(s) provided

The case that I have at the moment is that when someone runs the ?customcommand $1 Dyno will use the variables of whoever ran the command

But if they did ?customcommand $1 $2+ If they do 2 arguments Dyno will respond differently and use $2+'s variables in their response.

Is that feasible with Dyno's format or no?

I am trying to figure out the goodbye message. I have it set, but it just uses the discord name as the user leaving. I want it to show the nickname that someone had. I use this for a madden league, so each user has their team name as their nickname. How can I get it to say "Ravens" has left the server instead of their discord name?

unfortunately there is no checking for args in that way with cc's. the closest thing you would be able to achieve is setting additional responses for each argument. but again, the bot will not respond with 1 argument if only 1 argument is provided

if you are referring to their server nickname then in short there is no variable that fetches for the users server nickname. you can have it set to user mention by using $1.user.mention however when they have left the server their nickname will clear anyway

it just doesn't seem to register other custom commands

so for example:

• i have a command called command_event.
• i want to run command_event through command.

That's how you setup a custom command do perform an action from the list of commands. Like so, if you replace the "command" with "ban" the command will ban the user if the user's ID is implemented.
