It used to work fine... but for some reason the bot no longer seems to see "1w" as a week and can't figure out the time to set.

I was wondering if the same method I used for the mute command would also work with Dyno’s other built in moderation commands, such as kick, ban, warn, and modlogs.

For example, I’d like to piggyback off of the existing commands using the {!command} syntax, and then add custom actions like sending a DM with appeal information. I would, of course, rewrite the custom command for each case since the wording and context are different.

Since I’ve never actually looked at the raw code or structure of Dyno’s built in commands, could you confirm if this approach works across all of them? And if so, is there a way to view or reference the exact syntax for Dyno’s moderation commands, or should I simply continue using {!mute $1+}, {!ban $1+}, {!kick $1+}, etc. as the base?

You can turn off the welcome message module, and write your own welcome message that people will see if they join the server.

I’m unsure of what exactly you are trying to accomplish, but I’ll give you a few options. First you can make a separate command for each moderation action, and have each one customized as needed. The other possibility here is to make one command (sort of like a moderation menu) that can be used to kick/mute/ban/warn all within one command.

Can the Dyno bot decide to "Leave" the Discord on its own? One of my other bots recorded that the "Dyno" bot Left. It didn't record it as being Kicked or Banned. And there are no additional audit logs in Discord. So, I'm just curious how a Dyno bot can Leave a Discord on its own without any server owner or admin interaction.

I want to give someone a "host" role on my server to start events, with the ability to @ all the people with the event ping role, but I don't want to grant them access to @ everyone.

I used Dyno to create a custom command that only the "host" can execute so the bot is the one pinging the event ping role, but the @ doesn't seem to actually ping anyone, rather, it shows up as if you didn't have the role regardless of if you have it.

Is this solvable, or does Discord not allow apps to mention?

1) if you want the bot to have a custom response for muting and noting a user rather than having the default moderation log or command log responses sent into a channel. you can set up a custom command for these actions that post a custom response into a specific channel. however please note this is a premium feature

2) again you can do this via a custom command response by using the arguments for the user moderated and the moderator in the response.

There was a bug recently fixed that prevented premium bots from leaving servers.

hey it seems the user you're trying to moderate is acknowledged as a moderator or admin on the server. head over to your servers dashboard check the role is not a "Manager Role", then head to ---> modules ---> moderation and check if the roles is listed under "Protected Roles". if the users has a role under either of these options the bot will not moderate anyone in that role

Dyno is simply a service used to moderate users, and as such, Dyno Staff cannot help you with moderation issues from other servers. If you believed you were mistakenly banned or there was another issue, you must attempt to contact the staff of the server where you were banned. You can ask a friend to do this on your behalf or see if the server has any other social media. If the server has a Dyno appeal form set up, the link would have been DMed to you when you were banned.

Also experiencing Dyno problems. Have the premium instance in the server I run yet it is not working. The premium instance has vanished from the control panel and it says "get premium" in bottom left when we have the premium sub still active. The premium instance is still in the server. No idea what happened. Dyno has been acting strange for the last few days and now it has completely failed.

Does anyone here use the moderation notes for users more? I would love to, but I have the problem that a note is not shown when noting. I would love to have a notes channep where all the moderators just see all the new notes being added, without having to make a /notes username. Every admin could just repost evey note again, but that seems annoying. I would just love instead of "notes added" a "Mod X has noted User 'Seems fishy'" or smth so that everyone can see directly

It might not let you edit the embed due to you exceeding the discord limitation for characters in a description. The max amount of characters would be 4096 for the description.

Hello! I need to create triggers to make automatic responses to resolve the doubts of students in the class, who use the Discord server as support. We have some questions that are repeated and it would save us work, such as what are the teacher's schedules, etc. However, I'm having trouble getting it to detect the triggers in a more flexible way, for example, if the trigger is "horario profesor", if they add a "del" in between, it doesn't detect it, nor if they use the word schedules (plural). Is there a way to configure all of that correctly?

At least the custom instance I set up in the server I manage is still working and my settings did not get deleted. Had a lapse in the subscription and the owner had to handle it directly. I just run the server and configure it all. That includes access to the custom instance we use.
