Not necessarily, I can think of an instance when I made a model and someone pointed out how I could improve it and I changed it and it made it look much better. I still did the modeling, it's not copying necessarily it's learning.

I'd suggest using W/E, Axiom, etc to prevent blocks from updating when placed, etc.

not good at it at all but in the existing pack there should be a code referring to the xpbar. Just search through all the data of the pack. When you found it you can maybe just copy the script/ page in a new pack.
The pics u send should be similar in your new pack. (The xpbar stacked)

For your shine do you just copy and paste the same image and turn the hue up?

I duplicate the layer then color it solid white. Then I select the layer opacity (pretty much making a selection of the shape), and offset the selection 8 pixels positive x and y. Then, I clear the selected parts of the white layer, and it leaves an edge. I set the layer to overlay, and it gives that nice highlight. You can also modify the opacity and color of the highlight of course.
