Something that this game needs more than anything is input-based matchmaking. I got a new controller and tried playing around with it, and what I've noticed is that controller players are at a serious disadvantage in combat, even compared to mobile players. The platform-based matchmaking system doesn't take input methods into account, which is a massive problem.
