and instead of reselling already existing items there's new items themed around the event's theme (idk about the token shop but i guess elsewhere items, just something relayed to S.), now who is invading? i think S. because of 1 or 2 things, he's going through the roomiverse glitching stuff around, is the science department not able to do something? i'm sure the league of heroes could do something- oh wait they can't, they couldn't even stop the forbidden one (they could only save utinni with the help of a bunch of people, idk how to spell his name btw) so i guess not them, and as for what rewards other than credits? i guess the final reward could be an elsewhere item, or an S. item, as well as...ok my idea is S. themed invasion event where the science department deals with S. but i'm low on stuff to think of cause rec room sucks at having original story for a character that only provides cash grabs and shiny items with recolors that cost more than the restoration chainsaw, also blur i did not start late, 12 days with needing over 500 xp to get a reward or 2 per day at the cost of a bunch of cores and 200 tokens sounds quite hard, how many people completed the event and how many people didn't complete it, even if you complete the event you still need a whole lot of xp for some more credits, even if you buy all of the items you can in the shop, what's the point in continuing trying to do this event, every other one had a consumable you could buy but there weren't any with this one, and of course they resell items (should be used to it by now but it's still annoying) idk if i brought this up already but it's annoying how hard some of the rooms are compared to others, and also that some of the rooms were just broken and we had to wait around a day to get the cores in the broken rooms, the event was 12 days long (which is too short considering how much xp you needed and how expensive it was) also not everyone can sit in a room afk

It's too grindy, gotta devote most of your day if you want all the items, instead of it being a casual thing, you gotta come up with strategies to get the most XP

I never bought anything in this event so I can tell about that room but I never liked Jumbotron arena.

can't believe rec room hyped it up as a cool event they can do to get some really cool items you'll probably never see again that would let you get really cool items that would probably help you complete an outfit or 2 you have, or you can make a really cool outfit with the cool items you got, but they made it way too hard to actually grind considering some rooms were broken, the only item that goes best with the exo arms is an item you can only get as quickly as possible if you save instead of getting items you want, and also the fact that the only thing that makes this cool is the fact that you need to get every core of a color in order to get every core of another color in almost every room (i say almost every cause idk about jumbotron runners), and you cannot do this event casually unlike the other events (maybe except christmas but i think not but probably)

anyways if rec room wants to do another invasion event and bring back another character than how about an invasion event where the character invades, and how about not make it so hard to do to the point where if you wanna do it you cannot casually do it, anyways cya

I'm pretty reserved to criticize, and I'm not saying I didn't have a lot of fun. Because I did.

But the sheer volume of glitches, paywalls, and restrictions (like the 20 minute limit on XP boosts). Collectively made for a lot of stress and feeling like I paid for a lot of chores.

I was grinding the event like no other and finished early with ALL items acquired. So I ended up with a lot of time to try and just hangout, support, carry, or explain glitches to players so they didn't spend hours of frustration for nothing. And I'm pretty disappointed in what it looks like the average player's experience was in this event.

That said, I'm a sucker and I'm still pretty stoked on my rewards. This kite is THE BUSINESS!!! 🥰 🪁

Math wise, if you didn't have at least some of the items on that board from previous events, there was no way to get everything just from being AFK. But, a mix of the cores, boosts and AFK could have made it.

I get what thy are doing though. They didn't intend for you to get everything.

Like that last few events where you had so many tokens left over you bought 300 donuts or bubbly.

well you at least had something to spend the left over credits on, once you complete this event and get all of the items you can there isn't any reason to continue since there isn't something you can buy over and over to spend your leftover credits on

tf2 collab as an invasion event but it's 20 or 25 days long, isn't nearly as pay to win as this one, no tokens needed to get xp from more rooms, instead of collecting something you instead kill a sentry buster (i guess S. or the forbidden one took over them) in each room, killing one gives 30 xp, the more people there are helping you kill it the more xp you get (20 xp per player), when you enter the science department you are given a tutorial to help you understand how to properly kill the sentry busters (1 to 3 minutes long) and when you complete the tutorial you get the item you need in order to properly kill the sentry busters, you get rec room versions of tf2 skins and tf2 outfit items as rewards and xp boost costs 150 tokens (for challenge i guess), also the rooms are playtested before released for people to kill sentry busters in, can still spend time in public rooms for xp but doing so doesn't give extra xp from nearby people, do you like this idea? honestly it's different from the invasion events we have and you can do it casually so there's no need to get on every time you can
