Quick guide for walking beans cores
This is all from my memory so some of thing might have changed

1st core to spawn is the blue core, this one will spawn by the weapons building and can be unlocked by using the flamethrower

2nd core is the red core, this will spawn along the street out in the map expansion area, you must kill beans near the box to unlock it and get the red core.

3rd core is the yellow core, this core will spawn by the gas station and electrify the area around it, you must have the beans disable the electricity to get this one

Btw you gotta interact with some runs in the parking lot area by the flashlights to start the event and get them to start spawning

Speaking of gaming hours. If you are over level 50 and just went to public rooms every 30 minutes, just to get to the first repeatable 150, it will take you 68 hours, 15 minutes for 800 credits. Last Invasion it would have taken you 53 hours for 950 credits.

In the old method it was 1 core, now the rooms show 3 and the XP is split amongst the red/blue/yellow to equal what used to be 1.

Not true - not only does a blue + red + yellow come out to 90xp vs the old 70xp, but some rooms will have more than just 3 cores.

So, Spellbound, only if you have the items, I see you can get 10 total cores and the red is 40 +12. So, instead of the previous 70 +20 for 1 core you can get 90 +27 if the room only has 3 cores like the image shows. But, if more end up like Spellbound, I guess you can make more to make up for the extra XP needed. Guess I'll add it all up once we see all the rooms.

Maybe some bookmarks on each core would help, but when you watch the video and see 2 cubes back to back, 2 boxes back to back, it does not look like that is 4 cores, just looks like you are working on the same core still.

First 2 cores require you to find 3 special parts to get a flamethrower to melt the ice.

Next 2 cores require you to kill beans in the vicinity of the box's dropping location, where after enough are killed within proximity, the core spawns.

The last core requires you to lead the beans to the generator to shut it off, which then spawns the yellow core on the road

Doing it all in one go took me and 2 others 1 1/2 hours.

Me overall 3+ hours because I did the first half yesterday, and then had to redo it all again today to get the last 2.

I personally think they are better than things that have been done before and you can see the evolution of the things they have changed to "improve" each time. Most of the improvements are more centered on making it so that you can only complete it by buying items and this one makes it even more so as it is pretty much impossible to "cheese" the event completely as a level 50 if you didn't already own some of the credit items.

As it takes 3000 credits to get all the items and if you didn't get any of the cores, only achieved XP as a level 50 by spending 30 minutes in public rooms, it would take you nearly 14 days of solid 24 hours a day to get enough XP to get the credits to buy everything.

Unlike the first one, it was like 24 hours and you had more credits than you could handle, so you ended up with 300 of each of the bubblies.

I also like that they made it so the rooms aren't just 5 second dip in and out, got the core and run to the next one. At least, so far, with Spellbound as an example, you are rewarded per collection instead of the last one where you may have to collect 10 things but only get 1 core. So, that is a plus.

You could get in there, collect 5 cores and be enough for you to move on, but you spent some time in there and were rewarded for the 5 at least.

And, it showed you had 5/10, so you at least knew there were more to potentially grab.

Creaky made one for yesterday's, sure they will come along with another. It takes time and effort. Have to do the room yourself, record it, edit it down so you aren't spending the same 3 hours in the room to figure it out. Would be better if some of the verified Rec Tubers had more guidance so they could get guides out quicker. Like there are 8 here, 5 there, 2 in this subroom so it can get out sooner and be useful.

The blue and red cores spawn and randomly cycle out, they spawn where the key cards usually spawn in. The yellow one is at the winner stage and in the microhid door. It was a pain trying to get that door open and an even bigger pain to collect the yellow core inside considering how everyone just instantly grabs the gun which then closes the door and makes you lose out on an opportunity to even collect the yellow core

The only other way they could possibly get a sneak peek or head start is by talking to the owners and even then, they can't see the cores active till the time starts. So, time to find the cores, record it all and edit it down so you get a quick 5 minute video on what took them hours to do. Best bet, play the game and figure it out yourself.

Me personally I don’t have any insider information on cores nor will I ask for it, so I would usually do what Dave said, just find the cores and record after. But this time around since you can’t even find the other cores without collecting the blue ones first then that means I have to do it all in one go. So I’m basically finding them as I’m recording which means a lot of time to cut out the video where as in last event it was just find the cores, record and little to no editing

I can just tell you the cause of this

I did a part of it yesterday (collecting the blue cores), another part today (collecting the rest of the cores) . A few blue cores are now on a locations red cores were in. Something wasn’t right yesterday. It was really hard to find cores. I ended up getting all blue ones yesterday, only to find out the next day that it said I didn’t collect all them. I collected 2 more blue cores. Which weren’t supposed to be there. I’m quite sure something must’ve gone wrong during the change of core locations

Yeah, I had my suspicions. This is likely a result of the room being saved after cores have already been collected. I'll send a message to builders to let them know not to delete their cores after their room has gone live.

The event are similar, yes, but the point of developing the infrastructure was to reuse it. We keep it fresh by adding tiny new features each time, as well as incorporating new rooms. Yes, it's still a "scavenger hunt" in essence, but I think scavenger hunts in new and exciting rooms still keeps things relatively fresh. You get to play new games, and earn new cosmetics for free while doing so 🙂

Basically the first way is to set up a streamer cam in one of the code locations (preferably the code in front of the blue room) and stay at the code that you can see by jumping, then guess the code you’re missing. The second one without the streamer cam is stay in the intercom / stair room code, wait until the code changes and run towards the jump spot to get the second code and then guess the missing code

Public instances really help when collecting the cores, because the monster won’t only be focused on you

It's more than they have been doing. Imagine just doing the same RRO over and over, still no new rewards, or the same weekly challenges each week, only to get photo filters cause it is a repeat item. Each one of their events has had new items to collect, purchase or use the event currency with. Each one of them has encouraged players to visit rooms that they may not have ever seen. It has encouraged creators to make changes to their maps and enable new mechanics. It has given a level up mechanic to people that are already level 50. So, sure, you might see it is boring, because you don't want to see it as something different than all the other stuff that hasn't been touched in 7 years.

Could you imagine if they put the amount of effort they have with the invasion into Rec Royale, it would actually have a season pass type mechanic.

Yet, I guarantee people would be all over it if it changed up every 3 months and all they kept doing is battle royale, over and over. Instead, here, you just have a collect-a-thon in each different room, whether it be a hangout, a PvP or some other mechanic that is unique to the creator that made it.

I loved seeing the visits on my room, last couple of events I was in, jump up 30-100K. In one room, we ended up making about a million tokens between the two of us that owned it

And it wasn't even a room that required you to pay as some people continued to make complaints that it was.

Admittedly I’m not a big fan of the scavenger hunt aspect of the Invasion events, I like the progression portion of it but might need something I’d resonate more for me to participate more often than I have. (Even thought the last invasion event was still ongoing)

Doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on much and just been watching others grab up the cores while playing other games and the appeal of jumping through rooms to rush it for a core doesn’t really sell me on spending time in UGC rooms.

Still think a system like that however would help in discovering rooms just more so universally that the cores themselves wouldn’t be needed. That way I can just pick and choose what to play with a group of friends be it the original RROs or a Custom room that I’d find fun to revisit again. And if one of those turns out to be busted just jump to the next room.

Use to do a ton of room hopping back in the day, if awarded for simply exploring and maybe a few items for boosting during such an event I’d feel it to be a bit more flexible on things I’d actually wanna play and even could just set up social nights again for those wanting to unlock the cosmetics and revisit some of the older content that had those third place type of vibes though I’m not sure how important the collection of cores is in this current system. However if y’all ever wanted to lean towards an explorer league that wasn’t much of an event but just normal weekly progression that you are rewarded for would be nice.

Jumbotron arena is difficult solo but easy with a full lobby. You need 200 kills total as a team (if playing with others) and not in a single round. If it was in a single round that would be impossible, as for the goblin just launch him into the lava

I was actually helping out others who needed the Jumbotron arena power cores and all other power cores people needed help with. Although I’m a solo player I’m always up to doing co-op when needed

Also I don’t understand how on previous events some people complained about how easy it was to find the cores, now they’re “hard”

Trying to do some of these rooms on my alt on a laptop, especially ones that require a party or require completion, is infuriating. I've given up on most of them. It's not fun to be forced to go through all of the content, especially when some core is hidden in the final room. Then, also the fact the next set of cores don't even show till after you have the others, in some cases, forcing you to back track to get the red or yellow in a room you were already in.

honestly this event is way too pay to win, most people apparently didn't complete the event, the fact that they made it harder to get tokens means it's harder to boost xp which really helps when you're getting cores, getting 100 is already hard enough, 200 is just too much, let's not forget about how broken this event was on multiple different occasions, also did most people actually not complete this event? it makes sense if most people didn't since we only had 12 days to complete this event and it took way too much xp and tokens to get a single reward, along with not actually having a reason to continue doing the event after you complete it since there weren't any consumables you could purchase, and of course they made what is probably one of the best items we have in game (and it's one of my personal favorites) which costed 10k tokens, and also the chainsaw reskin that costed 7k and got you less cores than the actually really cool exo arms, honestly if people want a change in how the invasion events go than i can understand and the only thing i can think of is something like dead by daylight but there's 1 generator in each game and it's a multidimensional bomb instead of a generator and you have to deactivate it (why i think a multidimensional bomb will be explained in a bit), and the more people you have deactivating the bombs in a server the more xp everyone that deactivated the bomb gets (no need to friend people because i doubt many or most people play with people they friended in order to get more xp so you end up with more people on your friends list), and in the science department shop is a whole new food item (if it would be quaternion slerp i'd love it but i doubt it), and the 50 credits rewards require 250 xp (this is debatable on how much xp for 50 credits when prices are in the hundreds), idk about 150 credits tho, running out of letters so i'll continue typing in another message, gimme a moment

You can complete the event as a F2P without boosting by doing all of the main rooms, belt rooms, and then either passively playing rec room for the remainder of the event in public rooms, or by afking in one of the rooms made by the community.
