Bingo, I decided to have. Button on the Reload instead of a click since it feels more natural
Along with it triggering a sequence that the player must complete depending on the weapon
Once again I strive on the idea on "Manual reloading"
A Lil more detail on the jump to Reload tho
It's basically, if you have a weapon in your hand it'll make you jump very very little basically close to none
(Trying to figure out how to remove jump audio)
And filter it out to when your jump causes a reload

I got a suggestion for you that I had wanted to do, you can make the tension more realistic with a animation blend in unity and rotate like you are doing
Animate the bend of rod, then use the blend to do a % of that animation
yes they are, though not perfectly recreated as i had one reference image to go off of
that might have been better, but the way i did it was inverse kinematics, and using a bezier curve using the joint point as the control point.
i think i have more freedom with just being able to set the rotations of each segment
You have more freedom with it, but the blend would add more polish I'd imagine, you can do both

So the pistols, I made the magazines basically feel like you've got a wide grip
Whenever you have these weapons in hand
Jumping will trigger a Reload Proccess that I make appropriate for each gun
It's what I like to call a "Binding filter"
You know quake right, its a very fast pace shooter with all sorts of mechanics to make the game feel as fresh (bunny hopping, dashing etc) one shot to kill.

You should keep track of the positions of where points where captured, then you could toggle on point snapping where, if the current point is close enough to an existing point, snap to existing point instead

Event Receiver (Projectile Hit Any) returns data on a projectile that hit anything, and the collision data can be used for the position using Collision Data Get Position

when setting a variable, the input is what it's set to (when you execute it). to add one to it, use the output of the variable plus one as the input

just a thing that's good to start to make habits, use surface snapping to place circuits, and organize them to be easily readable. Also, always give your variables names to describe what they are for.

why do you use the chips that check if their mod, host, etc Wouldnt it save you chips if you just make a role chip and assign that role to the different perms?
just asking if there an actual reason like is it safer or could a hacker or something give themselves the roles?
I do that so it’s easier to spawn it in and just use it the way it is instead of having to assign the roles to permissions.

With the release of object properties and my inability to have any strive to make a complete project in Rec Room in its current state, I've been working on what I think is finally going to be my final PvP circuits that should absolutely be flexible enough to be used in any PvP scenario that I want it to. And I'm pretty dang happy with how it's going. Still got more to do, but so far, I've got the beginnings of teams, health, and UI. All completely dynamic with some configurable and delete-able bits. (e. g. don't need teams? just delete them)

goated, is the delay on the healthbar just a visual? or does it take a second to change the players helath?
So yea there’s kinda two things happening there. One is that yes, there is a network delay to when the player actually takes damage, since the player taking damage ends up being the one responsible for dealing the damage.
Another thing is that the world UI update is also delayed slightly- this is because I believe changing a player’s health was getting quite expensive on net heat and this was not helping.
I’d love for the attacker to immediately update the UI and pretend like it knows what the health will be, but unfortunately there seems to be some nasty bugs with unsynced world UI that was making it unusable without being synced
I intend on making a particle through Studio so that you can at least instantly see that you hit someone successfully

If I swap the delays with update 30 hz its too laggy and with the delays it not only is a good swap for it but also it allows you to customize things like the trail speed and how fast the water blast goes
either way, its also going to depend on framerate, so you might want to prevent that.

You could get a get closest and get all rec room objects with tag and greater than or equal to distance ≥ 0.15 connected to a if true (the input could be a update 30 hz or something that spams) then unequip set transform (very far away) then equip the crafted version stack a bunch of those for every recipe you want then boom
If the 2 items u wanna craft get close together it will craft like green hell
U could also make it a circuit board with the custom tags so u can easily clone it and edit the tags
Almost forgot for the origin for the first circuit set it to a hand position

Well how green hell crafts is kinda special requiring to objects be put together than wrapped with rope or twine so I'm just using this system for now until I find some thing better
I'm actually thinking about making a crafting system incredibly similar to green hell it been in the back of my mind for awhile
What I was thinking was getting a bunch of small models that look the same if put together and each one a length of 0.01 do the range thing I said before and get the distance round it to ?.? divide it by 0.01 so ik how much of the rope pieces to put and then the location of the rope model - the item that the rope is crafting so get the direction and set the vector scale of the direction to 0.1 add it to the position of the rope model set the transform of one to it with the rotate the vector of the original rotation and another scaled version set transform w og and repeat however many times it was calculated before to get the rope effect from green hell
(none of this has been tested I don't expect it to work immediately it's just been a thought)
And for the rock combine just do the thing I put far above with the nearest but set the range to like 0.01 so it has to be really close together to combine
Next Gen Rave Circuits, I usually don't show off my cv2 and all that, but this is kind of tough in my opinion. Big thanks to @fleet mica for helping me with the frequency band RRS scripts. At the moment there can be 20 players max and it runs around 45% - 50% net for room auth. Obviously I could add way more effects and run them at 30hz instead of 15hz and 7.5hz, but i want it to not overheat while hosting 20 player events. The DJ and Moderation Panels work fully, just need to add more songs. This is also all R2.0, this is my second big R2.0 project since ^QuickShots. First public event should be this Friday around 7PM EST if all goes well 🔥

You would only need to sync the audio player as the effects use its timestamp right?

I created a Bounty/Rank system that is used fo rmy One Piece Game
How it works is simple you can either change the Rank or Bount of a person but the whats showing up is depening on the "Branch" (idk how to call it otherwise) if you are a Priate only your bounty will be shown even if you have for some reason a rank in Marines same goes for the Marines if u have Bounty it will still show your rank
Idrk if it works with about 40 players but i hope that nothing breaks cuz i sat there for an hour straight

pathfinder uses a lot of NET when using a 30Hz, I recommend doing your own circuits for the AI so the NET wont skyrocket
The path finder doesn’t need to be updated on a 30hz, you’re fine going off of like once every 0.3s - 0.5s honestly

The scaling looks crazy but how just how
Essentially I made multiple versions of scaled down versions it spawns the main one does it again but saves the last position and spawns the scaled versions there and there's a delay between each one so it spawns it at the new position of the big one so it gives the effect it's scaling down

What does it do exactly, im seeing a lot add roles, also organization, to me and others its a very key part in doing circuits
Its acctually a whole basketball game system game start scoring checking if the bucket that had been scored is a 3 pointer ,identifying the player who made the bucket ,adding xp ,games played wins ,losses , builds ( those are the role chips you are talking about ) , and the keys and audios are song effects so when the bucket is made its going to 1st identify the player that had scored the bucket and after that its going to check which audio he has equiqed (the board which does that isnt on the screen but if you ever played any basketball games you should have a imagination what im talking about) and its going to play the audio equiqed
