Depends. Make sure to check everyone’s avatars performance before activating them. If they have more than 100k polygons, it can cause lag and too much more can crash. Same can apply to your own avatar. The best way to avoid crashing is to keep avatars like those hidden and to not use them yourself.

Ovr I guess you can say is a mod and there is some avatars with a throw/fly/ride ability altho most just use ovr for quick adjustment of the play area so think of it as your headset can measure you not 10 ft off the ground or gravity changed so a flick up of the headset can fling you up like if you were playing on the moon

You're vrchat is the website account and your oculus/steam are platform accounts

Oculus is made from the parent company of facebook so it's automatically linked. If you're interested in linking your accounts, you'll have an "upgrade account" option when you go into your vrchat settings on the maximized window. It should be near the bottom left. You'll get a code or "merge token" as it's referred to. You go into the website with the vrchat account you wanna link and go to the side menu, account linking, and input the code you got from in-game

Once you do that tho, you can't unlink it so be sure if that's what you want

hey bro the reason you may be crashing so much on the quest is because either the room your joining is hard to handle on the quest or there’s somebody in the room purposely trying to crash you like spawning all the props on you causing you to lag and then crash or emote spamming causing you to crash

If I'm correct USB-C to USB-C is better since it provides more wattage to charge the Quest 2, besides that there is no difference(I don't own a Quest so could be wrong).

hey i have a question thats a tiny bit off from the channel, but i have a acer nitro 5 laptop and a oculus quest 2 and i have been trying to play pcvr using airlink. But even after forcing the graphics card from nvidia control panel, windows display settings and giving it a higher priority on task manager. It still gives me the infinitive 3 dots and so I still have to resort to going to Device manager and turning off my integrated graphics card to be able to play vrchat and other pcvr titles. Any1 found a fix ?

Are you reffering to the link cable when it's plugged into your computer? Or the standard power cable you use to charge?

Because if it's the link cable then it's because your computers motherboard does not output enough power to compensate for the quest 2's consumption. That's a pretty common issue and the solution is using a power delivery cable or active cable. If you look for them online they will have a third plug connected which pulls in power from a separate source.

And if it's an issue with the quest 2 not charging when you leave it plugged into a wall outlet. Then make sure your headset is actually turned off when not in use. If that's doesn't fix it then your power brick or headset port might be faulty.

I have an avatar on which I have enabled physbones and set it up to be both quest and PC compatible (and it shows as such inside VRChat). My friend can see my avatar but . . . no moving hair. go do this to force the graphics card

if it fixes it then your drivers are fine, if u still have 3 dots then u would need to google your laptop and find the specialized amd drivers for it and reinstall them. thats how i fixed mine

and no its like use my weak gpu until it starts needing a lot of resources, which then confuses the software

a temporary fix is going to your device manager and turning off your integrated graphics drivers which will fuck up your desktop temporarely and then playing

I have made a discovery. If someone is about to crash half the lobby, and you hide their avatar, you still crash.

Kinda stupid because the whole point of hiding is so that their avatar doesnt work.

Yo does anybody know how to fix this? When I stream my VRCHAT to PC it doesnt show the bottom half of the screen. It jus shows the upper half. Like I have to literally look at the ground for the bottom half to show on stream. Somebody said fix the FOV of the camera. Is that possible?

You auta just factor reset to fix any corruption that might have happened. It's not common but happens. You don't lose any games you've bought or any progress, just login with your existing Facebook account and you should be good.

Meta will ban your account usually without notice if you are under 13 and you lie about your age. If you followed that the reason your account is banned is none of my concern but a factor reset will fix your vrchat issue.

Idk what’s going on…but my quest has been having this specific problem to where I take off my headset for a second then I put it back on my character stays in afk, then my oculus would keep me in a black screen and would rest when I have my head set on me, but when I force turn it of then turn it back on it shows the meta symbol but gives me just a black screen and would rest again…has anyone had this problem before? And how do they fix it?

I’ve been having issues with my barrier. Anytime I try to change it to make it smaller so I can see people closer to me it doesn’t change anything. If anyone has some tips on how I can fix this please lmk, thanks!
