They were never supported by quest because of the huge hit to performance, the ability to do so officially was patched out long ago. Any time it's cropped up was due to modded SDKs which allowed you to circumvent what was actually allowed. These violated ToS and were one of the many reasons performance on quest was so bad. If you want transparency, go with pcvr
