Running may have set off the bear's prey chasing instincts, and if I had stayed where I was or approached, the bear might have attacked me to protect her cubs. So calmly backing away while keeping my eyes on the bears was the logical course of action.
With polar bears it's different, as they will actively hunt humans. If you're going into the Alaskan wilderness, you pretty much have to carry a firearm in case you need to scare off (or, if worst comes to worst, shoot) a bear.

Let me put it that way. VR UIs are lackluster because - it's very tough to build for something you both cannot touch and also cannot have fixated in space. There is a thing such as academic cycle - brain works in subconsciousness in background. That's one of the methods. Another method is the rubber ducky method. Tho that one is primarily for programiing but it works surprisingly well for design as well

You don't really need rubber ducky - but the bottom line is that you need to re-offload the load from the internalized flow to the vocal/lingustical brain function - which makes brain re-internalize everything you get through it, and that helps it to defeat the "writer's blocK" so to speak

I still don't understand what is it with seeding grass instead of better plants. Ivy (non poisonous one lol), clover - both look leagues ahead of grass. Also clover survives heatwaves much better than even hardiest grass ever could
