An Ethernet Cable isn't that hard to make. I run CAT 6 from the modem, to the routers and shit here and the rest is CAT 5e and not much of an issue atm even though my ISP caps download at 200 MBPS and 20 MBPS at upload.

I went to a component expo, many of the "high quality" drivers in headphones get so mass produces that you will see the same component in 100-150$ headphones as 20-30$ ones.

Funny you mention the battery life to not be up to par. When I went 18650 battery shopping, I learned about reskinning batteries that have sat in warehouses and lost capacity.

If you are likely to get screwed on one thing it is battery life. The second would probably be the wire.
