so the iris/pupils slowly started to bug me
because of how they pop out since they were a separate 3D mesh of their own...
so this morning an idea brewed in my head that I eventually fix that
I temporary separated the panel that made up her eyes as its own mesh... applied the mirror and fiddled around with the vertices/faces of the said panel to shape her iris and pupils
removed the 3D mesh that were her iris/pupils
applied the mirror so it's a whole mesh, then boom put it back together and it now looks much better

I would texture her fur through the materials on Blender... but I have no idea how I'll do that since those UV map things confuse me quite a bit
I have tried following video tutorials but still a bit confused
I wouldn't call myself an expert on Blender (let alone Unity) despite being able to make a model from scratch and rigging it up to becoming a VRChat avatar

It's not fallback shaders, it's PBR as a test to get away from the overused Toon shader on literally everything.
Which is why it still has correct lighting and shading on it.

Yup. It just looks weird because you're used to seeing almost colourless, flat toon-shaded models, rather than things that actually look 3D.
Look at the hand, how you can actually see proper shadowing.

Don't get me wrong, Toon can look fine, but I was getting tired of the pseudo flatness of it all. I offered to switch them to a toon shader but they're happy with it as is (as I had to do a lot of cleanup work to smooth out the horribly broken mesh in the first place).
So I just tweaked a PBR setup until it looked nice.
