there could be many reasons for a world to perform terribly - a complex world does not strictly mean a less performant world, compared to a more visually simple world

the game slowing down when you move is odd though, that could be up to the game loading in different, heavier parts of the world via occlusion culling, collision checks on high-poly mesh colliders, shader activity, Udon activity, etc

to add, it could also be things like overlapping transparency since that + high res textures can quickly decimate FPS

also if the world has any animated objects so any mesh that isnt static like NPCs, or to add on to transparency being an issue, giant trees or other plants with many overlapping hi-res leaf textures that arent particles could also be a culprit
