It's probably that the default male avatars look "realistic" but still not entirely real, while cartoonish avatars don't feel off in the same way if they're simple or lower quality

Going close to game characters can be scary, even if the quality is kind of high. But for stylized avatars/characters I don't think the same problem exists

Stolen accounts are usually due to weak/reused passwords, reused usernames, no 2fa, modified client/mod use, external password leaks (like HIBP shows, though VRChat itself hasn't ever been compromised, your password could be, if you're using a reused password that you used on another service that got compromised)

If you're being banned from servers but still have your account try changing your password and activating 2fa if you can. The servers might be wiping but if someone else has access to your account and hasn't taken full control there's no harm in doing so.

As for changing your DNS server: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using#windows this site lists Google's DNS server but there's lots of other ones, like CloudFlare's, Quad9, OpenDNS and etc

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.

My Vive controllers change color now no matter their actual battery level. At times they enter a re-boot loop which is hard to stop, because they need to be turned off when on, but they turn themselves on and off rapidly, probably as they're out of battery but trying to stay on.

It's a general thing. I can still use them for about 6 hours in a row and then play some more while charging them. They just don't know their own battery levels anymore, or whenver or not they're charging
