I found some interesting bugs. VRChat forgets about your Steam merge or simply does not let you log in via Steam to your merged account, but VRChat will actually display your Steam name sometimes in your friend requests to others. Then of course the friend request bug that is very rampant and continuous which will not let you send friend requests. vrcAevSip

I have an idea as to why the Steam bug may happen, may be worth making a post about. The friend request bug is easy to reproduce--Send a friend request to someone.

Favorite map, eh? Murder 4 is decently fun, but cheaters, literal squeakers screaming profanities, and quest-crashers are ALL over the place. If not murder 4 then probably the weird McDonalds pokemon map in the hot section. Sounds weird, but you meet some pretty chill people there, and if you're in a pokemon avatar, and you like pokemon, then it's pretty easy for socially-inept people like me to have some small fun conversations, cause usually I don't even need to approach people 😅

As much as I hate to admit it, the Among Us world is great with friends. It's murder but the innocent aren't 100% useless (it's almost impossible to find all 5 clues)
It's only good with a friendgroup though, public lobbies are... not great

Try restarting your router if you haven't already - using a VPN and/or changing DNS servers might help too
Although your internet may be fine on your end, if there's a problematic endpoint between you and VRChat, that could cause connection instability, which a VPN would work around

True, it's not hard, just a little tedious and repetitive. So much potential for murder, like having to pick the locks instead of just spamming (~~im assuming only detective or murderer would be able to lock them~~), maybe smaller minigames like cracking a safe to access a tazer (stuns a player for a few seconds)

There are few API tools out there which you can use to work with the VRC API 🙂 One of them and most known is VRCX. API Usage is allowed by VRChat but you should not be malicious with it 🙂

There is a use case for 32-bit Windows, but not a big one.

That's why it's called x86-64

It's still using the core x86 instruction set, but it's been extended to work with 64bit

heres another thing thats incorrect: "VRC_SyncVideoPlayer and VRC_SyncVideoStream are both completely disabled in worlds in VRChat Quest.

Placing either of these components in your Quest world will break compatibility between your Quest and PC world! Simply remove it from the Quest version."

I don't remember when I joined.. but it was during launch and we had about 15 people around... that's all I remember.. we got new users preety slowly until many years later steam released was announced, before that we all knew each other as there was really not that many people at all.

Unity 2017 and 2018 update, Udon, Av3, Trust Ranks, Crossplay, the last dev stream, individual player audio control, safety settings, DynBone limiter, and probably a few more things (mid 2018 player here)
thats not counting the countless stability improvements, performance improvements and security fixes they implemented over the years

but yea, the last dev stream really was the best thing so far
