Also the ranks aren't strictly time-based - friends, worlds visited, avatars/worlds uploaded (assuming the account has permission) and active hours all help your trust score, alongside not getting kicked/banned/reported, etc
It's completely different for everyone, but I'd hazard a guess and say that 10-50 hours with a decent amount of friends'd sound right to go from Visitor to New User c:

I mean like Windows 10 has the mouse acceleration and some games will give you a way to bypass that acceleration for that game specifically so I was wondering if vrchat had something like that, but i think I found a program that should make a keybind for it now anyway

Ik this was ages ago now but osu has an option to override the acceleration and use raw input and I use that. Someone found a program that can toggle the acceleration globally with a keybind which is amazing. And I would just turn off the acceleration but then using a laptop trackpad is painful
