Avatars are all someone's personal uploads. When someone shares them in a world, it's still linked to their account as their personal avatar, it just gives you an option to borrow their ID and use it.
They aren't on like a huge avatar mall or anything

The oculus store does not allow the proper beta testing so they cant run an open beta on there.

On the contrary, this is exactly why the Open Beta phase happened the way that it did. We also wanted to make sure as many people could test it out if they wanted and understood that this was simply a way to support VRChat with some perks back if you wanted. Keeping the free experience the same if you couldn't pay or didn't want to was very important. None of the current features are meant to be core changes to your day-to-day.

Tupper has mentioned it many times, but we follow every single feedback thread on our Canny. We definitely understand what things people want, but giving you perks for supporting VRChat is different from improving the core gameplay experience.

Is blocking for no reason other than hiding an non-objectionable avatar you personally don't like a mis-use of the VRC trust system? And does the number of blocks have negative affect on an account preventing advancement through the trust tiers? I have been in VRC for over a year and have never had genuine need to block anyone, c'mon guys and gals, play nice, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet.

An organization decided to do a cross organization event in VRChat - got a 3D modeller to make a room and custom avatars, but then found out that THE USER has to have SOME HOURS put into VRChat to upload new worlds/new avatars. The event is today in like 4 HOURS and they need a help from VRChat user to upload the world for tonight. I haven't sunken that many hours in VRChat yet.

first, you can get more detailed help in the development channels, and 2nd, in the pickup objects trigger component there should be a setting where you can change it from local to globally synced. I haven't worked on worlds in a long time so I'm not sure how its called but it should be in the trigger component

It's possible that your GPU is able to render each frame faster than the CPU can send them, so the GPU is having to wait after each frame for the next one to be issued by the CPU.

It does use multiple threads and multiple cores
Things like voice and networking are on separate threads/cores
It is heavily dependent on the main render thread which is bound to a single core, which is where a big part of the performance limit comes from.

PC and Quest use different hardware. The compiled files are inherently incompatible with each other. That's why it's not possible.

Unlikely since it's Amazon Cloudfront we're talking about here. More often than not having poor download speeds in VRChat is usually some form of issue on your end. Likely with the ISP.
