my safety settings are default because safe mode resets your custom ones anyway so there's no point setting one just to accidentally reset it

I think if it came down to it it would probably be in VRChat’s interest to just ban those bad streamers rather than get their platform banned. “Don’t make our product look bad” is pretty much what all terms of services say, they just try and be more technical about how they say it.

It’s true. I couldn’t sign up under my name. they wanted a photocopy of my ID. I could have provided it I just chose not. Tried years later to make a Facebook account and they still want it the ID so I still have not made one as of yet. I would do it if I really wanted or needed an account though.

I did do a test though and I just intentionally misspelled my last name and they let the account get created with no additional info needed. Apparently having the last name as a verb/profession made them suspicious. But since that’s not my name and wasn’t my real email, I don’t consider myself as having a Facebook account. If the vive was like a 5/10 then the index would be a 8/10. It’s great, but it’s still not quite there. For the price difference though, you’re better off just getting a Kinect which actually does full body tracking. Index does not do it unless you purchase additional trackers on top of the $1k you already spent

I can’t see past the imperfections. Even with supersampling on and high resolution, the headset (although much better than others) isn’t as crisp as I would want it.

Phone headsets always felt the most natural. It’s a screen you always have with you and no wires required. Wish this was expanded more (I hope apple does it)

I just wish we could do VR with our phones (connected to a headset), and Bluetooth trackers. That’s it. That’s would be amazing

Currently it's my favorite visually. (Although I haven't used the HP reverb yet).

It has the same resolution panels as vive pro and index, but it's oled and has an anti sde diffuser.

So while it's not quite as sharp as index, it has virtually no SDE, and almost the same fov.

The downside is the controller tracking is a first generation inside out system, so not the best. So I use index controllers

Phone vr is almost always terrible.

Quest is actually good, fully optimized to utilize the power, and can be plugged into a pc like a normal headset...

The downside is it requires a facebook account to use

@errant dew I wanted to get the best headset valve index with full body but I'll prob take the oculus quest 2 cause there is still an option to get hand tracking without controller with these plus get a Kinect and get a cheap body tracking and after that you can invest in more:)

my rift S already on 3rd replacement due to constant blackouts, its caused by too much current delivered to headset slowly killing it
